Daggers Posted 20 July 2007 Posted 20 July 2007 I think Fowler will go to Cardiff because hes got more chance of playing regular football What? Greater than the 23.2 games PER YEAR he has averaged over the last six years?
Daggers Posted 20 July 2007 Posted 20 July 2007 Fowlers agent: "It is really a battle between money and quality of life and believe me, quality of life counts for a lot of money. All the money in the world is not going to buy your family's happiness." Such bollocks could only be spouted by someone who's family have never had to survive on benefits. What a ****ing wnaker. Still, it's nice to discover that the quality of life is good in South Wales.
Finnegan Posted 20 July 2007 Posted 20 July 2007 Still, it's nice to discover that the quality of life is good in South Wales. I wouldn't want to live in Cardiff OR Swansea, tbh.
Daggers Posted 20 July 2007 Posted 20 July 2007 I wouldn't want to live in Cardiff OR Swansea, tbh. You aren't seeing the big picture - Fowler is obviously going to flatten the best part of South Wales and turn it into a jacuzzi. Money leading to quality of life in action
He's not bald Posted 20 July 2007 Posted 20 July 2007 You aren't seeing the big picture - Fowler is obviously going to flatten the best part of South Wales and turn it into a jacuzzi.Money leading to quality of life in action Plenty of places for a really deep Jacuzzi...South Wales is almost hollow which is ironic really if Fowler goes there!
SystonFox Posted 20 July 2007 Posted 20 July 2007 he can plow over beaumont leys and build something decent if he wants.
He's not bald Posted 20 July 2007 Posted 20 July 2007 he can plow over beaumont leys and build something decent if he wants. He can play where he like's as far as I'm concerned...he ain't coming here so he can go play "who get's paid the most for doing the least" with Hendrie!

Stevosevic Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 MA said on skysports he is looking at other strikers as well, wonder who he will bring in?
dandannieldanok Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 MA said on skysports he is looking at other strikers as well, wonder who he will bring in? Someone younger, leaner and hungry to play for the love of the game rather than Robbie 'get me as much rest and cash for doing so' Fowler.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 Thank fook thats over. CLOSE THE THREAD PLEASE!!!!
Steven Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 Fowler agrees Cardiff deal Former England international Robbie Fowler has agreed to join Cardiff City. The experienced striker has accepted a two-year contract with Cardiff and is expected to be presented early next week. Fowler had a clutch of clubs on his trail after he was released by Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez at the end of last season. He travelled to Australia last week to discuss a deal with Sydney FC, who confirmed on Friday that he rejected the offer. Leicester City and Port Vale had also shown an interest, with Foxes chairman Milan Mandaric hoping to tempt Fowler to The Walkers Stadium. But Cardiff had always appeared to be favourites to sign the 32-year-old ahead of their Championship rivals. The Welsh club have now confirmed a deal has been agreed for Fowler to pen a two-year contract at Ninian Park.
