Dr The Singh Posted 9 July 2007 Posted 9 July 2007 It had better be good...its out in the UK 27th July. Michael Bay directing though I've seen it and it's quite good, better then I thought it would be, although there was not enough nudity and sexual content for my liking!!! It's a typical steven spielberg film, though!!
Babylon Posted 9 July 2007 Posted 9 July 2007 Looks awesome... especially as Megan Fox is in it grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Master Fox Posted 9 July 2007 Posted 9 July 2007 Yeah it will be good. But could have been much, much better! The film has it’s good and bad points. Spielberg’s gayness influence is evident and predictable. But it’s all set up for the sequel.
Dr The Singh Posted 9 July 2007 Posted 9 July 2007 Megan Fox is an appropriate name On the subject of the movie though...why do all the transformers look the same??? I have to admit, during certain scenes with fast action, especially the fight scenes, it can be difficult to tell who's who!! Just to add, the storyline is very good, with good plot for genre, there's plenty of fight\action scenes and Megan (me and her are on first name basis) does look very fit!!!!
Daphne du Maurier Posted 9 July 2007 Posted 9 July 2007 I've seen it and it's quite good, better then I thought it would be, although there was not enough nudity and sexual content for my liking!!!It's a typical steven spielberg film, though!! My family will be most gratified to hear this. We do so enjoy action features but find nudity and sexual content awfully distasteful. I have little understanding why directors feel the need to include indecent images. No wonder we all suffer at the hands of a depraved society.

They're inflaming my sexual ardour. © Bill Bailey ~ Bewilderbeast
Mr Happy Posted 9 July 2007 Posted 9 July 2007 I'm looking forward to seeing this movie (because it reminds me of my childhood) though I always find if you go in with high expectations, the film lets you down ...but if you try the other way round, the film turns out not so bad

MC Prussian Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 I'm absolutely looking forward to seeing this one in theatres. I was a huge fan of the animated series way back in the 80ies and I grew up watching it on TV. Of course, the toys were top-notch entertainment, too. I had a huge collection (same goes for M.A.S.K. a bit later on). I was sceptic at first, because I couldn't see Bay and Spielberg doing any justice to the original, and the first few leaks and trailers hinted at that. Luckily enough, they've slightly given in to the fans' protest and made the robots look like their animated predecessors. Still don't like some of the designs, but the initial response has certainly convinced me that this is an entertaining movie worth seeing. Shame though that it won't be out here until the 31st of July. I'll head for Canada a day later and will probably watch it there, in an appropriate language that is English.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 Went to see this a couple of weeks ago If you watched Transformers as a kid you'll enjoy it. I however didn't watch it as a kid (more of a Ninja Turtles person) so it was a matter of watching robots kick the crap out of each other with corny dialogue. The graphics though will make you shit your pants.
