Nationwider Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 This would be a great time for him to prang a cruciate ligament and be out for 12 months. I like the bloke, and wouldn't wish an injury on him - but I'll guffaw loudly if he gets crocked.
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 This would be a great time for him to prang a cruciate ligament and be out for 12 months.I like the bloke, and wouldn't wish an injury on him - but I'll guffaw loudly if he gets crocked. It would be funny.
Dr The Singh Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 It would be funny. Only if it happened to Victoria Bekham though.....atleast Bekham is good in his line of work, Victoria is just something else................
Stevosevic Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 Couldn't give a shit about Beckham, wish i could stop hearing about him.
Geo V Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 I wish him all the best. The media frenzy that follows him is OTT and always has been but he has at times, single handedly pulled the National side out of the shite and needs to be applauded for that. BTW, I wonder how many conversions he will kick and if he is MVP during the season.
Suffolk_fox Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 Jeez, I just heard a news slot on the radio dedicate almost 3 minutes to them arriving in America. Were they both assassinated? No? Then it ain't news....
Simi Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 Only if it happened to Victoria Bekham though.....atleast Bekham is good in his line of work, Victoria is just something else................ You're telling me you wouldn't like Posh Spice on a bhangra track. What a voice.
Blue Bob Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 I think the hype is all a bit too much, but he is playing the media for his own advantage. He is clearly not the brightest of blokes but he has used his talent well, the media has tried to kill him off several times but he has come back stronger and he is now using the media to make him even richer then he already is. Fair play to him.
Jon the Hat Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 The Beckhams are utterly utterly brilliant. Find me one "celebrity couple" who have had the same level of success in their chosen career and media attention (courted or otherwise) and managed to a) maintain a succesful marriage, and b) raise and protect their kids. In everyway they have kept their feet on the ground. Good luck to them all.

In everyway they have kept their feet on the ground. Good luck to them all. That might be true! BUT Victoria is a prancing annoying women who apart from wearing clothes fit for a whore has done fcuk all since that crap song with fatty Dame Bowers!!! (And before some smatry pants replies,i know its not Dame Bowers!)
Brainy Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 I like him but all this is bugging me. On SSN yesterday, they told us how long the flight is from Heathrow to LA, and the temperature. Who cares about the temperature.
Finnegan Posted 14 July 2007 Posted 14 July 2007 I wonder if the Americans realise he's actually boring on the pitch? I mean 30'000 have apparently already got tickets for his first game. I mean it's not exactly Ronaldinho or Christiano Ronaldo on the excitement scale is it?
Raj Posted 14 July 2007 Posted 14 July 2007 Yanks aint really bothered about football(sorry soccer!!!) i think they are just being mesmerised by BRAND BECKHAM! Like you say, once they realise all the hype, they will fcuk off back to baseball, basketball and all those other silly games they play!
act smiley Posted 14 July 2007 Posted 14 July 2007 I wonder if the Americans realise he's actually boring on the pitch? I mean 30'000 have apparently already got tickets for his first game. I mean it's not exactly Ronaldinho or Christiano Ronaldo on the excitement scale is it? I'd guess the 10,000 that would turn up anyway have a good idea what to expect, and then the two groups that the remaining lot divide into are gloryhunters who don't turn up unless there's a star player or pretend to support Man Utd and celebrity-lovers, of which the first lot might have a clue and the second lot almost certainly don't.
