maddog Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 I just can't understand this, Fowler has gone to Cardiff. They are a poor side with basically no good players apart from Chopra who they have sold. They clearly have no ambition or they would have kept Chopra to help them get promoted next season. Leicester have all the ambition of the premiership, a better stadium and are a bigger club etc. Would have loved to have Fowler here can't believe he's gone Cardiff Discuss.

Brainy Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 Id actually say that to what he has said, not because he started another topic. The fool.
Fox in a Box Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 cardiff is alot closer than leics to liverpool etc and its an easier journy for him...think about it! doh topic shut
Phlashman Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 WTF? I think most city fans will be thinking we've dodged a bullet here. Now we've got the £1m we would of spent on his wages to spend on someone who might actually play more than 10 games a season. Izale McLeod gets my vote.
dandannieldanok Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 cardiff is alot closer than leics to liverpool etc and its an easier journy for him...think about it!doh topic shut You are totally wrong so you can hardly be in a position to judge
Fez of Mahrez Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 cardiff is alot closer than leics to liverpool etc and its an easier journy for him...think about it!doh topic shut Liverpool to Cardiff (M6, M5, M4) 164 miles Liverpool to Leicester (M6, M69) 116 miles It's not just this goober, a lot of people have said something along these lines - showing up their geography quite badly!
MBK Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 They're actually one of the more ambitious teams and will surely make the top 8 bracket. Good luck to him.
Nick Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 cardiff is alot closer than leics to liverpool etc and its an easier journy for him...think about it!doh topic shut Sorry, defending the Newbie on this one..... Not true. It takes well over three hours from Liverpool to Cardiff - you think about it, its near the Malvern Hills ! It takes just over 2 hours from Liverpool to Leicester. Period. Put on the aa routeplanner if you don't believe me! doh......

Tevez Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 Ah well, i'm sure we could find someone, it's not the end of the world.
maddog Posted 21 July 2007 Author Posted 21 July 2007 everything i have said is true... i am entitled to voice my opinion like all of you What an idiot Liverpool is obviously closer to Leicester
Thracian Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 Disappointed. He could have been part of a great adventure.
dandannieldanok Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 everything i have said is true... ....err no its not, you said Cardiff have no good players and no ambition, both completely untrue.
Dr The Singh Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 Disappointed. He could have been part of a great adventure. Don't worry his dealer will be providing him many!!!
maddog Posted 21 July 2007 Author Posted 21 July 2007 what do you know? Name me some good Cardiff players... If they had ambition they would have kept their best player
dandannieldanok Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 what do you know? Name me some good Cardiff players... If they had ambition they would have kept their best player Joe Ledley, Peter Whittingham, Darren Purse, Paul Parry, Steven MacLean, Gavin Rae...................
Tomassi Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 i just love the fact that Peter Ridsdale wants to cripple another club!! Cardiff in the Conference in 5 years... I am not bothered that he hasn't signed for us, the wages we would save, and also the team would have to play around him, why play around a 32 year old when weve got lightning fast strikers in Hume and Campbell?
Simi Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 what do you know? Name me some good Cardiff players... If they had ambition they would have kept their best player I find the irony of this question quite funny.
Stevosevic Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 Joe Ledley, Peter Whittingham, Darren Purse, Paul Parry, Steven MacLean, Gavin Rae................... Scimeca still there? Decent player at this level.
OzFox Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 Dunno why he didn't come out here to Sydney. After all it's much closer to Liverpool than Cardiff..
