James. Posted 28 July 2007 Posted 28 July 2007 Fez and JTB is musical disagreement shock... Wrong. Miles Davis - Kind of Blue Great album. Plus jazz-influenced drum n bass is very agreeable. As is big band stuff (well, I did used to play for one). The thing that appeals most to me (at the risk of sounding a bit pretentious) is the freedom of expression in the music. I've always had the utmost respect for jazz musicians as it demands such a good ear for rhythm, technical skill and timing. **dismounts high horse**

Miles Davis fair play. You wouldn't stand up for UB40 in the name of reggae because of Bob Marley. To be honest though it's the freedom of expression that I can't be doing with. I like a certain amount of repetition in my music.
James. Posted 28 July 2007 Posted 28 July 2007 http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=E_QQFNZqdC4 Quality. As soon as it's gets abstract you mess your trousers and run to your Mummy. I don't give enough of my time to the Boosh.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 28 July 2007 Posted 28 July 2007 Kero One - Windmills of the Soul. Jazz tinged rap album, very soulful, like hot cocoa to the ears. That's the reason you can't knock Jazz http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...riendID=2697238 You've been looking 'In all the wrong places'!

Some of Guru's stuff is pretty good as well, as far as jazz tinged hip hop goes.
