Finnegan Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 I'd sort of agree with the bottom line of your post, though I think it kinda smacks of ignorance. Friends, while I don't really "get" it, is massively adored by half the country and far more likely in the adult female populous than the "youf." Scrubs is a fantastic and pretty intelligent program with, again, highly minimal "dude-age" so your examples are pretty toss. It's all too easy to get extreme on the tabloid scapegoatism but the truth is our culture's been Americanised in every avenue and has been for years. Probably isn't going to change in your lifetime, either, so I'd start getting used to it really.

The first couple of series were indeed quite funny but there is only so many series of JD is a goofy guy but at the end of the episode wises up and learns a lesson, Cox being the tough guy but at the end of the episode shows a kinder side, turk having a problem with that un latina character carla. and the new series are so preachie they might aswell be narrated by god not JD Freinds oh my god! what a shit programme it's boring and unintelliegent, anyone can see the jokes coming a mile off. and it is totally unrealistic as men and women cant just live as 'Friends' and you could never be friends with your ex for so many years. people treat you like a leper when you say you don't like it but i am making a stand! join me people and we will make an uprising! who is with me???
