Richards Chimbonda Carragher Baines Ronaldo Lampard Ljungberg Rooney Bellamy Anelka comes up to bang on 50mill. very attacking which i like and the defenders play for teams who dont concede many (if Baines moves to Everton im hoping!)

I'm with you on that one DB. I buy defenders from clubs like Everton who are reasonably priced but in a decent team, then spend more on the midfield and up front.

Depends which league you decide to enter really with the points systems being different. Last year a lot of my points came from my defenders with 3 points for a clean sheer and 1 point for an appearance.
