Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 Just seeing that old thread mentioning Peter Canero reminded me of that Charlton away game in 2004, the day we got relegated. He had an absolute stormer that day. I remember Alan Rogers came on as a sub at Old Trafford on his debut and looked pretty good. Shaun Newton's second half against Birmingham last season was superhuman. Junior Lewis had one or two stormers - notably the away game at Newcastle when we lost 1-0 with a late goal by... Carl Cort.
Manwell Pablo Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 Phillpott had one but I can't for the life of me remember which game it was, he was beating men left right and centre. Sylla, Celtic.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 August 2007 Author Posted 3 August 2007 That reminds me, Nalis against Barcelona. I thought we'd signed the new Glenn Hoddle. Sylla against Inter as well gets mentioned a lot although I didn't go to that game.
davieG Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 Phillpott had one but I can't for the life of me remember which game it was, he was beating men left right and centre.Sylla, Celtic. One of the Masters games on Sky.
Flexx Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 Stearman against Aston Villa was probably his game of his life, considering he's been shit in every other game he's played in.
Flexx Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 Josh Low looked good away at Coventry. I thought you said you have never been to a game?
Manwell Pablo Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 One of the Masters games on Sky. No it was actually a fully fledged game, I think it was Premier league as well.
Brainy Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 I thought you said you have never been to a game? It was on SKY you fool.
Flexx Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 It was on SKY you fool. Oh yeah the drab 0-0 or was it 1-1 game? I was in Ireland watching it
Joe. Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 Oh yeah the drab 0-0 or was it 1-1 game? I was in Ireland watching it A drab 0-0 Luckily I was on holiday too.
lildave3 Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 De Vries vs Tottenham. He didn't even play that well bless him.
Unit Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007  He didn't even play that well bless him. Yes he did, easily his best game for city, he was holding up the ball better than he's ever done before and seemed to actually know what he was doing rather than diving everywhere.

Yeah he was good, but he still should have scored at least 2. Besides, Blackpool was his best game for us.
Brainy Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 Besides, Blackpool was his best game for us. If thats the case, more of a reason for him to be included in the game next week.
teblin Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007  He didn't even play that well bless him. I thought he did, Gave dawson a really tough time.
Kilworthfox Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 Kammark vs Middlesborough at Wembley 1vs1 Collymore vs Sunderland 5vs2
Nationwider Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 Kammark vs Middlesborough at Wembley 1vs1Collymore vs Sunderland 5vs2 I'd agree with both of those. I always remember Neil Lennon having a great game against Palace in the '96 play-off final, covering every blade of grass about 5,000 times. Perhaps that was just me?
David Guiza Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 im only 15 so i would say out of the game iv been to sunderland 5-2 tranmere 2-1
Daggers Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 Stearman against Aston Villa was probably his game of his life, considering he's been shit in every other game he's played in. Agree absolutely - I've upgraded you to Halfords Torque Wrench...not to be sniffed at.
