Shrew Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ity/6934784.stm Just wondering if anyone thought he'd be worth resigning?
Flynny Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 Probably no better than most of our strikers at the minute. No chance of us getting Mills, is there?
Simi Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ity/6934784.stmJust wondering if anyone thought he'd be worth resigning? No. Simple as. This has been bought up before anyway. Dabo though ?
Ric Flair Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 No thanks. I'd take Ishmael Miller like a shot though, he can play up front or on the wing.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ity/6934784.stmJust wondering if anyone thought he'd be worth resigning? No, wouldn't want that little Judas back here if he was the last striker available...
jonw88 Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 Paul Dickov can ****ov.. Don't need any more La Manga situations!
Ultra Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 How many goals did he score last season? Perhaps we should re-sign Lineker and Franky Wortho while we're at it!
The Stig Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 How did I know this thread would appear, no he is probably now a bit old, he was good in his day, lets not ruin what was a good thing.
Soar Fox Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 I would take Dickov,Miller and Mills Dickov...You know what you will get from him regarding workrate and goals Miller...Young hungry and can play on the wing & striker Mills... expirenced defender which is always good to have and still only 30
Kirky Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 dickov is a bit like hume and fryatt but much older..if he came it would show a lack of ambition!! he left us to play premiership football and let him suffer with no club hes a reject.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 No, Dickov is too old now even for the championship
dandannieldanok Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 Dickov is going Coventry according to various rumours, and they're welcome to him.
Charnwood Norris Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 From the few appearances he made for Man City last season, he looks past it pace-wise. He peaked in about 2003, so simply a no.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 Hume and Campbell are similar to Dickov but younger, stronger, quicker and equally lively and hard-working.
Micky Ruddle Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 I would of taken him back a few years ago, or even last year. But we got enough strikers as it is.
Brainy Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 Id have taken him a few months back but we have more quality now. No thanks.

breadandcheese Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 Mills is apparently on £40k per week and happy to sit his lucrative contract out unless someone matches it. Friend of mine who supports man city rates ishmael miller (mentioned above) very highly. says he's solid on the left wing. Might be a good loan signing if we're worried about that side of the team.
Messi Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 No, wouldn't want that little Judas back here if he was the last striker available... i agree with you, he was ok when he was here but after the la manga situation its a no go, plus the fans were quite offensive when we played blackburn and i dont think hed want to
lildave3 Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 The only ex-City player I'd like back is Heskey. My idol Heskey that is, not you. If it helps, you're a close 2nd.
Foxhateram Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 The only ex-City player I'd like back is Heskey. I agree with that i was hoping Wigan would drop so we could grab him, but unfrtunatly they stayed up. Heskey is a legend would love to see him back here, he can do a Dublin if he wants and finish his career here in a year or so.
Ric Flair Posted 7 August 2007 Posted 7 August 2007 The only ex-City player I'd like back is Heskey. What about the £10 million rated David Connolly?
