OzFox Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 Anyone have any memories of Spencer Prior? He's turned up over here in Sydney as a FOX Sports pundit for the new premier league season

MPH Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 spencer prior was a typical martin o'niell signing. he could do two things and two things alone... head the ball and tackle but martin played him to his stregnths and alongside elliot was a rock for us. had we had any other style... any other formation he would of looked lost, but it worked- thats the thing about o'niell when he was with us- things worked. Fond memories .and for me, will always be welcome at the walkers stadium...
MPH Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 Definitely Prior. I remember the commentary http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2uUh2-lJizo quality game.... having just watched it, and to confirm: Elliot scored the second and prior headed the ball back accross goal for walsh to get the third....
OzFox Posted 11 August 2007 Author Posted 11 August 2007 I've got a feeling he was the one who stuck out a leg for Erland Johnson to fall over in that FA cup tie against chelsea. Thats gotta be one of my worst memories as a leicester fan
OzFox Posted 18 August 2007 Author Posted 18 August 2007 Spencer is turning into quite an entertaining panellist. He just went on air at half time in the Pompey game minus one of his front teeth which he lost biting into a FOX Sports pizza

Them were the good old days you could just trust the players in what they were doing.
