MC Prussian Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 My brain says the Semis. My heart, however, comes up with a Cardiff final. Who's going to win this clash? Brain or heart? What do you reckon?

step Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 We need more confidence. we just beat a team that is ninth in the premier and CL is going to bring in new players and strengthening the squad. we will continue until we come up against Manu, ars or chel.
Chandler Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 I think we could take on Southamptom home or away and win. We could get a draw at the Reebok and take Bolton back and win over the 90 or 120. We would have to beat Spurs over the 90 with a home draw (a big ask) because they score goals for fun at home. We can forget Newcastle home or away and the big three. Championship and below we should be OK - though I would prefer not to draw the Blades away. Fate might smile on us like it did Millwall last year (they didn't draw a single Prem outfit until the final).

At home I think we could take them
Matt Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 QUOTE(Cobbo @ Feb 3 2005, 11:47 AM)We are a bigger club than Blackburn. ..Lets prove it
filbertway Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 Silly question to ask untill the draw has been made

Nationwider Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 Brentford at home to Saints Sheff Utd a home to Arsenal reserves Burnley at home to Blackburn Newcastle at home to Chelsea.... There's got to be an upset or two in there somewhere? Then if we avoid Man Utd in the next round....??? God, I hate to say it, but I've never wanted F****t to win a game as much as I do today!
Who ate all the pies? Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 The Final..which is typical as I'm bestman at a wedding on the same day! It's okay though I've offered one of my mates 2 hundred quid to sleep with my mates fiancee and get the wedding called off! I'd do it, but I want to actyally be able to watch the game at the stadium not from a hospital bed!
Oli Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 Chelsea in the final. Then if we win or lose, we're in Europe again.
Jonbluefox9 Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 I just want an away game in the Quarter finals. I'd like Blackburn at Ewood if they manage to get through. I don't want Brentford at Filbert Way if they get through. I'd be worried about Wycombe part two. Bolton would be less likely to slip up to a Championship side than Charlton were. I think we'll go out next round although I didn't expect us to beat Charlton.

Wilson Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 Isn't the semi-finals played at cardiff this year aswell? Also what happens if both teams who get to the final are already in europe (Man U Vs Arsenal for example) does the european place go to one of the teams in the Semi's?
Anish Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 Isn't the semi-finals played at cardiff this year aswell? Also what happens if both teams who get to the final are already in europe (Man U Vs Arsenal for example) does the european place go to one of the teams in the Semi's? 69122 I reckon it'll go to the 6th/7th placed team in the Premiership, not any of the semi-finalists of the FA Cup.
Anish Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 The semi's are at cardiff too... 69126 I'm not happy about that at all - it just devalues the Final and the experience of going to Cardiff, which imo should only be for the 2 finalists and their supporters. Plus Cardiff is a lot further/more expensive than other stadia in this country.
