Finnegan Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 So there's a wasps nest outside my window, yeh. And I'm tidying my room, there's wasp corpses every mothafukin where. Keep stepping on the things, these bastards are vengeful even in death. Christ. DESTROY.
Maybes Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Wasps definately. As the majority of them sting. Its fun when you trap them and see them struggling to get out mwahahaah
Finnegan Posted 22 August 2007 Author Posted 22 August 2007 There's a glass full of dead wasps (and when I say full of wasps, I mean there's about twenty of them in there) in our hall way. One of my flatmates, Natalie found them all in the shower room (that's a small room) at once when she got out. Probably attracted to the humidity or something. Sprayed the room with fly spray, closed the door and legged it. Came back to harvest the corpses and found a small army. They're everywhere.
dandannieldanok Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Fortunately I've not noticed any wasps around my house yet, bloody flying ants instead.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Wasps are annoying when you're eating and drinking outside at the pub. They refuse to piss off and get all rowdy when you start swinging at them. They are similar to many people in society...C*nts I call them
davieG Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 I've had two wasps nest this year one at the back and at the front, somewhere between the roof line and the front room (chalet bungalow). I've sprayed both nests but the one at the front is still causing problems, I removed a piece of the window framing whilst decorating and for 2/3 weeks now I've been hoovering up 100+ dead or docile wasps a day in this room, where they are all coming from I don't know.
Alexikokopops Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 And I thought I had it bad when a jasper flew in the cab at work today.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 It's the hornets you need to worry about. BAM! Works on two levels. I'm a modern-day Shakespeare.

Phube Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Sad fact of the day alert!!! Wasps used to be known as Waps in the middle ages, but it has been changes over the years!!

Get the council out to remove the nest. Job done.
Phube Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Get the council out to remove the nest. Job done. Cost about £60 though!!
davieG Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Cost about £60 though!! Yes and I paid that the year before last.
hairy Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Cost about £60 though!! I thought it was a free environment service. Ignore my post I am stupid. Why not pay the local scouts on bob a job week to remove it.
