TAFKA Castroneves Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Best wishes to you Clive. Just seeing it all on Sky Sports News and it sounds horrible. All my best wishes.

Simi Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Leicester City have this evening confirmed that defender Clive Clarke is currently in a 'stable' condition after the player had collapsed at half time during the Carling Cup clash against Nottingham Forest.Clarke will be kept in hospital overnight to monitor his progress. Further updates will be available here on the club's website on Wednesday morning.
Stranger Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Cheers mate, it's appriciated. Every club has its morons, nice to know you're not all twats. No problem speedy recovery and hopefully will be home soon
ForestFan Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Best wishes to Clive Clarke from a Forest fan here. I have already seen statements from Forest fans that disgust me, such as stuff here - http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthr...3540&page=2 I just hope the bloke is ok.
davieG Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Get well soon, having just lost a brother this week I'm very concious of how delicate life is.
Little Nicky Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 All the best Clive, bit of a pisser, to go all the way to Notts & the game be called off, but it was the sensible thing to do! get well soon!

I have already seen statements from Forest fans that disgust me, such as stuff here - http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthr...3540&page=2 I just hope the bloke is ok. Wankers. This was posted by 'Forest Chav' So what will happen next? Did Chelsea go all ga-ga when Cech had his head caved in - that was life threatening.Sevilla subbed Puerta and got on with it - and won 4-1. Did Newcastle need to abandon it when Dyer broke his leg? What about Coventry vs Man U when Dave Busst broke his leg? Wasn't Schmeichel sick on the pitch? We didn't see that abandoned... Either his condition is worse than we imagine, or there's some hoping to get a replay out of it and win. Which is really unsportsmanly. Right now something doesn't add up about what's happened (and tbh, we didn't see much - I wasn't even at the game) and what we've been told.
Bluefoxtim Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Just had a quick look on a forest forum where they have set up a poll regarding whether the game should have continued or not. Is at 50/50
Flynny Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Just had a quick look on a forest forum where they have set up a poll regarding whether the game should have continued or not.Is at 50/50 Not too bad for a Forest forum really. There's half-decent arguements to be made for continuing, even if I don't agree with them personably.
cowshedphil Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Not too bad for a Forest forum really. There's half-decent arguements to be made for continuing, even if I don't agree with them personably. Here's to a speedy recovery from all at MK Dons

morris1234 Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 thoughts are with clive and his family, makes you realise how insignificant all the forest rivalry is compared to more important things doesnt it
Tevez Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Get well soon Clive Clarke. But to be honest, i did have respect for Nottingham Forest, but for singing scummy songs like same old Leicester always cheating. There is no need.
Sunderland Fan Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 I have only just heard what happened on 5 news.I only hope its nothing like as serious as puerta's was.All the best Clive, hope you get well soon mate

But to be honest, i did have respect for Nottingham Forest, but for singing scummy songs like same old Leicester always cheating. There is no need. I was amazingly pissed off at first, but I don't think most of L and K would do much different were the situations reversed.
Toby or not Toby Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 All the best to Clive, I dont care if he plays for us again, i just want a full recovery from him!
The Reverend Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Get well soon Clarkey, hope it isnt as serious as the Puerta one. Funny how these things all seem to happen at once. Once again though, pull through this Clive. With the heart you've shown in just a few games for City, im sure you will.
Ultra Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Not too bad for a Forest forum really. There's half-decent arguements to be made for continuing, even if I don't agree with them personably. No there aren't. Some years ago I saw a mate of mine have a heart attack. It's the most distressing event I've ever witnessed. There's no way our players (or any other team) would have been in a fit state to play after witnessing an event like that. I hope Clive makes a full recovery and if as seems probable his career may be over then we and Sunderland can make sure that he and his family are looked after. PS Deepest condolences Davie G
Jonbluefox9 Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Hope he makes a full recovery. He's really impressed me so far on the field but that's insignificant at this time. Get well soon Clive!
General Smuts Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Fear struck as soon as the Leicester bus driver was called for, im not entirely sure why but you knew it was something serious from then. All my thoughts are with Clive Clarke and his family aswell as the Leicester team. Here's to Clive and a speedy recovery and hopes of a Leicester recovery from this disaster also. Clive Clarke My thanks also to the fans of other teams asking after Clive and wishing him the best. I've had texts from Ipswich and Man City fans personally.
