Dagha_07 Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 I heard they had to use mouth to mouth and the defibrillator on him so it must of been serious. Just wish him a speedy recovery
potter3 Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Best wishes to him and his family. Well done to Forest for agreeing to abandon when they're wining.
breadandcheese Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Good luck Clive. Wish the best of health to yer.
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Just got back, guess I'm the first for once not living to far away from Notts. Apparently he's awake, not talking, and being treated at queens. Best of luck to him. And a big well done to the rival sets of fans who decided to forgert the fact that someone had collapsed and decided to have a brawl anyway.
teblin Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 All the best clive, this shows that there are more important things that football, hope you get well soon.
Simi Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 My thoughts are with his family and friends and also the City squad, sounds like they all had to endure watching it Get well soon Clive.
Guest Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 All the best Clive. Hope you make a full and swift recovery. My thoughts are with you and your family
Thracian Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Hope the people at Queens fix him as well as they fixed my wife. We're all thinking of you Clarkey and just hoping you're soon back fit and well.
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 My thoughts are with his family and friends and also the City squad, sounds like they all had to endure watching it Get well soon Clive. Dont think they did, radio 5 said that the whole of the squad were out lined up along the touchline, radio 5 thought Martin Allen was being "typically eccentric" and was giving his team talk on the pitch. Unfortunatley not the case.
LCGJess Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 ow get well soon. i'm sure every leicester fan is thinking of you.
Sparky Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 get well soon mate , every city fan is with u and your family
l444ry Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Dont think they did, radio 5 said that the whole of the squad were out lined up along the touchline, radio 5 thought Martin Allen was being "typically eccentric" and was giving his team talk on the pitch. Unfortunatley not the case. Radio Leicester said that they did. They came out to the touchline to give the emergency services space to treat him. Apparently, it happened almost immediately they reached the dressing room at half-time.
the_bowman Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Condolences to Clive and the rest of the Clarkes Wishing you a good recovery, you've got a life in front of you and football shouldn't affect that Good luck and all the best
Stranger Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Forest fan here, despite the rivalry and the few morons that spoiled the night, wishing him a speedy recovery, thoughts with all his friends and family.
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Radio Leicester said that they did. They came out to the touchline to give the emergency services space to treat him. Apparently, it happened almost immediately they reached the dressing room at half-time. This is what I mean, they were probabley sent outside after it happened. I would think it would intially be the parmedics who were situated at the ground that they would be moving for.
l444ry Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 This is what I mean, they were probabley sent outside after it happened. I would think it would intially be the parmedics who were situated at the ground that they would be moving for. Correct. The commentary mentioned that Adrian Whitbread came back for the medics and almost dragged them into the tunnel, such was the emergency.
Tommeh Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Horrible thing to happen, my thoughts and prayers are with Clive and the hope he makes a full recovery

DJhinckley Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Antonio Puerta at Sevilla only the other day, Anton Reid at Walsall last week, Matt Gadsby for Hinckley last year. This shouldn't happen, and those at Hinckley know how you are feeling. Our thoughts are with his family, players and staff at City and all those affected by this. Our hope goes out to Clive to pull through.
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Correct. The commentary mentioned that Adrian Whitbread came back for the medics and almost dragged them into the tunnel, such was the emergency. I think the reaction of the physios/paramedics and the abandonment of the game are probabley down to the fact that one footballer has already died today after suffering a similar sort of illness/condition/whatever it is.
Leicester Lass Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 All the best to Clive, here's to a speedy and full recovery.
