Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 At least we know he's ok now.Really do wonder what caused it though. Marc Foe's heart attack a few years ago was caused by an "enlarged right ventricle" that was impossible to detect. It would have to be something really obscure because Clarke is a healthy, young man who seems to live a lifestyle that wouldn't suggest he's vulnerable to this kind of thing. It's really stange and must have put the fear of God into the players that witnessed it.
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Hello Leicester fans.Im a Sevilla F.c. Supporter... Sorry but my english is not so good... Seville_fan Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Top man!!!RIP Antonio What a great, great gesture from a Sevilla fan. El fue jugador bueno Thanks to everyone. Yeah, words travel very fast... and faster in this situations. 1st the health of Clive, if he's ok, are very good news. Im going boys, good luck with the premier and see u... Wish not for bad news
FleckneyFox Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Also Clarke will have obviously only have had a medical a few weeks ago so could be something really obscure or he wasnt feeling good, fainted and then almost swallowed his tongue like Puerta did
Tevez Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Thanks for that, Mr Sevilla. Sorry to here about the death of one your players. All the best for the season!
Tommy G Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Get well soon Clive Clarke. But to be honest, i did have respect for Nottingham Forest, but for singing scummy songs like same old Leicester always cheating. There is no need. I think that song disgusted most of the city fans and ultimately lead to the trouble outside the ground (and a bit inside the ground) Once again my thoughts are with CC's family, and also the city players. Must have been shocking to see one of your team mates suddenly collapse, and frankly would scare the shit into you considering there all supposed to be top athletes physically. I just hope this won't affect their mind set for saturday, not a welcoming distraction. But most importantly my thoughts are with Clive tonight along with everyone else.
Linekaaaah Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 I echo those sentiments. My thoughts to you, your fans, Sevilla FC and especially the family of Antonio. This has been a sad week for football. Ray Jones, Antonio, and a lucky escape with Clarkey. It really puts the beautiful game into perspective, but makes you proud when true fans band together in times of need.
potterscrazed Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Stoke fan here brought up in Nottingham and has a good mate at uni whos a leics fan. Was shocked to find out that the match had been postponed off my mate. Then to find out that Clive Clarke was the player in question just struck me pretty much numb. I can remember the days when he broke into the Stoke team, and was always one of my fav players, which is why there was a big loss in my mind when he left. My thoughts go out to Clive and his family. This is a big shock for any family, let alone a professional sportmans family. Hope he recovers well and gets to pull on that football jersey again in his life.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 My heart goes out to Clive and his family and hope he makes a speedy recovery Also my condolences to you DavidG
Tevez Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Dave Rennie and Damien Doyle and all the other Doctors that helped Clarke tonight. Deserves a mention
Tommy G Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Dave Rennie and Damien Doyle and all the other Doctors that helped Clarke tonight.Deserves a mention Apparently so. Good job they were on hand
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Clive for his efforts in a City shirt so far Rennie, Doyle and everyone involved in probably saving a man's life Colin Calderwood for being brave enough to abandon a game Forest were likely to coast through The fans who have signed up here to pass on their best wishes The idiots in A, and anyone in Z that retaliated The sour Forest fans who put their result ahead of Clarke's condition Get well soon Clive, I look forward to your return if you come back.

AoWW Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Forest fan here, despite the rivalry and the few morons that spoiled the night, wishing him a speedy recovery, thoughts with all his friends and family. Best wishes to Clive Clarke from a Forest fan here. I have already seen statements from Forest fans that disgust me, such as stuff here - http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthr...3540&page=2 I just hope the bloke is ok. Hi another Forest fan here. I would like to wish Clive Clarke all the best and wish him a speedy recovery. My (and the majority of Forest fans) thoughts are with his family and friends at this distressing time. Ignore the minority of morons, every club, sadly, has their fair share. Once again I wish Clive Clarke the best of luck and hope he makes a speedy recovery. Respect and thanks to all the Forset fans who were kind enough to post on here wishing Clive Clarke all the best. It's good to see that there are still true football fans who care more about the sport and the health of individuals involved in it than petty rivalries between clubs. On a personal note, my thoughts tonight are not only with Clive's family and friends but also those involved with City - it must have been a harrowing experience for those close at hand. Clive - All the best, get well soon.
boneman Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 My best wishes are with Clive and his immediate family, every fox is thinking of you at this difficult time.

For the players and manager they may need counsilling as that situation is very traumatic and may leave some feeling very fragile knowing how life is a thin thread.
Guest Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 All the best, Clive. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Ric Flair Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Get well soon Clive. Funnily enough you were one of the only Leicester players last night that appeared to be putting a shift in. Thoughts are with you and your family.
