If everybody was like lildave, everybody would be jobless, homeless (due to lack of work) and mentally unstable.

I've never actually heard the name mentioned when used either and I am a few years older than 14. But I think I may have worked it out eventually.

This is all well and good, but how many of you knew how they actually worked???

Very few I'd bet! People's knowledge is varied he might know a hell of a lot more about something than people on here!

I hate to defend DB11 but we didn't all grow up watching Casualty!!!

What I only learned recently, and had confirmed to me by a medical person I was speaking to the day after the Forest game, was that when the old defibrillator comes out the chances are that the casualty is a goner, and it's very much used as treatment of last resort. They may be used to great effect on Holby City or wherever but in reality they don't often pull people back from the brink. It underlines how bad Clarke must have been, and how blooming lucky he is to still be with us

Who cares about age? Bloody hell some people aregue like old women on here. Its like my dads bigger then you dad scenario. Im 19 but didn't know exactly how defribillators worked, so I did a bit of research before I posted on here, not actually started a topic up however

You'll learn in life that everyone has their strong points in terms of general knowledge. Im sure everyone on these boards regards themselves to be quite knowledgeable about football, but maybe not quite so sharp when it comes to the History of World War 2 - for example. Just because you aren't as knowledgeable about certain subjects that others, doesn't mean you should slate people about it... :D

TBH I prefer to ask 'real' people for answers as oppesed to reference material. The answer you get is always more satifying!

He's 14.
Shame you missed the point of my post. It was more of a "He's 14, what do you expect", kinda post, not a "He's 14, get off his back" post.

 Silly me, should have seen that.

Ther's no tangible evidence that anyone on this Forum is real.

I'm certainly not real. I'm just the figment of somebody's very sick and disturbed imagination.

My niece was 9 the day after the Forest game, but knew what a defribillator was.

Let's all give your niece a round of applause then :appl:

 Good point, but does this mean the whole world is just here to please me and whan I close my eyes everyone just disappears!!! :o

Tenuous. :ermm:

Or even that they're people.

Some of them are clearly animals.

Pigs, primarily.

Some are cows though! :P

There's no need to be jealous.
