Good day. The boss came in and said that he is going to provide a sheltered smoking area for us filthy participants :) and he bought us lunch.

Had a great day sales wise......= money :)

But its raining, I have a 2 hour drive home and its getting dark, and I want a beer.

So 8/10 for today :D

Cool thread, only just spotted it !

I know exactly how you feel Geo ive nearly given up all faith in humanity & im 21 lol

My quote of the day which i always stick by is "smile it confuses people" its very true its amazing how many dodgy looks i get when im walkin around with a big smile on my face :D

Thats one thing I seem to get from Leicester that you rarely get down here. A smile! I know people were more friendly up there when I used to live there but even when I go up for matchdays, you usually get a joke and a laugh with people whether in a petrol station or in town going into the shops. Its totally different down here though as everyone walks around like they were just informed that they had won the lottery but worked out that they have lost the ticket.

It's true. Although adversity sometimes prompts a conversation. Like if we all have something to moan about.

Anyway, today was my last day of work for the rest of the week. Off to your motherland tomorrow Geo - Cyprus - to see my mum.

27 degress. F**king beautiful.

When I got home today I found out I'd won 2 return tickets to Belfast with Ryanair from a competition on the back of a Leicester programme. :)

When I looked at their website I found out that a return ticket to Belfast on the dates we wanted were only £6.00( plus tax that we have to pay) :(

The cheapest hotel was £140.00 for the weekend and to be honest I even know what there is to see in Belfast.

Not sure what to do now. :dunno:

Junction One is a retail outlet close to the International airport, if you fancy bargain hunting. If you want to go sightseeing, it might be worth hiring a car and seeing Lough Neagh (sp), or driving up to the north coast and seeing something like the Giant's Causeway. The scenery is beautiful. :dunno:

Roo, are you related to Dave Bassett?!! That was the longest sentence without a full stop that I have read since good old Bertie!!

BTW forget friends in the making. Just ask her out you and invite her onto the optimistic bus. I promise i`ll look after her. ;)

Just go & sh@g a random tonight to take your mind off it & get rid of some frustration :D

Maybe you should be a bit/very cautious if you have to work closely with her :dunno:

My own lunacy and chronic inability to organize myself made me work until 11pm on Tuesday night, then from 5:30am until 8:30pm Wednesday.

A bit of a scheduling disaster thanks to my being all too willing to help others who will - in all probability - not bother to help me.

Still... I proved I could do it. Everyone doubted I'd have the drive to survive a long shift after a late night.

But I did.

Go me.
