England V Russia

I guess some people always see the negative side of things.

I cant believe how some people always see the glass as half empty and not half full. Yes we have a dodgy manager and yes a few of our better players are missing but our players have ability if they start to play like a team, as they did really against Israel. I know Israel aren't great and Russia should be better but Israels qualifying record has been outstanding, was that 2 defeats in 16 or 18?? Im sure they were in Ireland's group last time as well? Anyway, that bit may be inaccurate but we made them look shite and from there, everyone thinks that it was there inability and not England's solid performance.

Was working in Central London today.

Parked my car at Wembley Park underground, yesterday the attendant told me that it wouldn't start to fill up until after lunch.

Arrived at 10.30 this morning only to find signs up saying it was full!

Saw the attendant, he remembered me so found me a parking space.

The car park was full of flash cars, obviously the prawn cocktail brigade, who can afford to take the day off work!

Arrived back about 1.30 this afternoon, walking back to the car to deposit my work gear, four people asked if I was leaving so they could have my space.

All of them flash gits, so I said no, dumped my stuff in the car and went to get some lunch.

Nipped into McDonalds for a burger, about a dozen of the Prawn Cocktail brigade came in for lunch.

Really took my time cos I knew someone wanted my parking space. Hee, Hee.

Got back to the car park when this smart looking bird pulled up, long blonde hair and nice knockers.

She asked if I was leaving, couldn't refuse her could I.

One of the flash gits said "I was here before her", I replied "sorry mate, never heard you ask me", which he didn't, just took it for granted I'd let him in.

Stuff the prawn cocktail brigade, they are not interested in the match, only the prestige of saying I was there.

You should see a doctor! That chip on your shoulder will only get bigger ;)

Despite them being relatively unknown, they'll still be a hard nut to break. Hiddink is a mastermind, he'll have them more organized than the Aussie defence.

relatively unknown or relatively unpronounceable?

COME ON, ENGLAND!!

:englandsmile4wf::englandsmile4wf::englandsmile4wf::englandsmile4wf::englandsmile4wf:

NOTE: White just didn't look right, so 'ON' is a subtle shade of pink.

Adds a certain Je ne sais quoi, don't you think?

I've got mixed feelings. While I'd love to rub it in all the willy puller's faces who mock me every time Wales fail to qualify, I think the competition and the summer of 08 will be decidely boring living in England if the nation isn't really getting "into" it. There'll be a certain gloss missing.
