MPH Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 !!! anyone see Mclaren pull his boxers out of his backside after celebrating Owen's second goal?!?
Kent Fox Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 I cannot believe this Owen - Heskey partnership. I say Heskey needs to be dropped or England will start winning stuff. Feel good factor? Fook Off - it'll give me a heart attack!
JoeyB Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Heskey and Barry have both staked a claim to stay in his next squad! and why bring back becks? SWP is playing well and so's richards!
MPH Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Who needs Rooney Heskey and Owen's Big man little man combination works far better than Owen and Rooney's wide man little man combination.... Rooney is an immense player.... but how can you change a team thats played so well last couple of games... at least Mclaren will have enjoyable type of dilemas..
lildave3 Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Rio's having a shocker... and A.Cole!! Hardly having shockers are they?
lildave3 Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Hardly having shockers are they? Point proven.
MPH Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 to the person who had 2 quid on england to win 3-1 with Owen scoring first..... are you wanting Russia to score now?!?
Head Honcho Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 3-1 England with Owen getting the opener.£2 at 30/1 Come on Russia
dandannieldanok Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Come on Russia They certainly deserve one.
Milky Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 McClaren must have a deal with P Neville to give him caps Emile Despite his goal Rio his over rated
Durnerz Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Another top rate performance with a perfectly balanced team, keep it up lads!
Joe. Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Nice performance. Pleased for Owen, he seems to be finding the net consistently once again. Oh and this says it all. Owen- 14 goals in 14 games with Heskey. I'd definitely go as far to say Heskey should be ahead of Rooney in the first team.
purpleronnie Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 I hope when lampard is fit he dosen't play him, these performances prove it dosen't work with him in the side.
dandannieldanok Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 I hope when lampard is fit he dosen't play him, these performances prove it dosen't work with him in the side. Before these two games I would have disagreed but now I totally agree, Barry was refreshingly efficient alongside Gerrard.
Ashley Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Good game tonight. Good performance by the England team Well done Owen, Barry, Heskey
Geo V Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 I hope these two results have silenced the tabloids and some of the boo boys. McClaren isnt my favourite manager but he has gone up in my estimation in playing Barry in defensive midfield, Heskey upfront and sticking by Robinson in goal. I'm sure most of us wouldn't have taken those decisions and I'm 99.9% certain that the muppet tabloid journalists who have battered Heskey in the past and think they are almost hidden gem managers in the making, wouldn't have made the decisions McClaren bravely made. Hats off to the team for their performance as everyone did OK. Some of the major players like Gerrard didnt play well but Barry was awesome and Heskey was magnificent again. What a centre half he is
