Moreton Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 People who went to the game please give us your thoughts on the action at the walkers Fulop's ratings should be good...

dave the caveman Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 I've been away for a while but - didn'twe sign something like fourteen players this summer? If so, why the hell are we still playing Levi ****ing Porter???? And why is Carl Cort allowed anywhere near this club? And Gary Megson?????? Sure, Martin Allen was a bit of a egotistical tw*t with next to no genuine managerial ability, but surely we could have found someone better than this moron? Even Mickey Adams. I'm still 100% grateful that Mandaric has taken over the club but i can't help but feel that the man is making things 10x harder for us - and himself - than is neccessary
TheBlinding Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 Fulop 8.5 - Superb game, took everything in the air and made 3/4 important saves. If Henderson had been playing we'd have lost. N'gotty 6 - Not a full back! McAuley 7 - Had a good game, vital blocks. Poor distribution though Kisnorbo 6.5 - Didn't have too many problems, solid game. Sheehan 6 - Didn't offer much going forward and defending was poor. Stop crosses and don't get beat, all he needs to do Porter 5 - Pretty useless, never beat his man, never beat the first man with his crosses, crap set pieces. Left Sheehan exposed Weso 6.5 - Had a quiet game, didn't get forward enough and didn't close down the QPR player for the goal Clemence 7.5 - Played well, won the ball used it well, didn't give it away much and was good defensively. Unlucky not to score. Hume 7 - Good game, put some good balls in, calmly taken penalty. DJ 8 - Caused all sorts of problems, unlucky with the one off the line, did everything right. Won the penalty and looked our only real threat. Cort 6.5 - Started well and is better in the air than De Vries but first touch let him down. Chambers 6.5 - Looked good but should be played as full back coming from deep Kish 6.5 - Got stuck in and played well defensively, obviously did nothing going forward De Vries - No time
Tommeh Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 Fulop - 7 - we need to hang onto him, spreads confidence across the defence, no chance with the goal N'Gotty - 6 - steady enough, but in terms of going forward give me chambers there anyday especially at home when we need to attack Kisnorbo - 7 McAuley - 8 - won everything in the air, calm in posession, even showed he was not to be done for pace by QPR's forwards Sheehan - 7 - Did well I thought Hume - 7 - Nice touches and well taken penalty Clemence - 7 - poorset game yet for us but that just shows his high standards, still held the midfield together well Wesolowski - 6 Porter - 6 - Not the answer for me Cort - 5 - why he wasn't brought off I don't know, got worse as the game went on Campbell - 7 - best game yet in terms of effort and quality. Unlucky not to score, needs to watch his offsides. Subs: Kishishev - 5 - WHY? Megson WHY?? Left Mid WHY?? De vries - 6 - no time Chambers - 6
GianEmmo Zola Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 What a joke, why play Carl Cort, who hasnt played for us yet, just an outing in the reserves, were i can say he was f**king shocking, clearly didnt want to be there, Mark De Vries crawled of the pitch against Watford after he worked his socks off, he was knackered after that game, then they leave him out today, i wonder how he feels, Fulop 9 MOM N'Gotty 7 Kisnorbo 8 Mcauley 8 Sheehan 6 Levi 6 Clemence 7 ( great strike right at the death was unlucky) Weso 6 Hume 7 Cort 5 Dj 7 Kishishev why bother Chambers 6
Tevez Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 Fulop 9 (MOTM) We really need to get this guy on a permanent. N'Gotty 7 - Still not suited at right back Kisnorbo 7- Good Enough Mcauley 8- Close Shave for MOTM, this guy is our unsung hero Sheehan 7 - Medicore Levi 5 - Rating says it all Clemence 6- Poor 1st half, but made up for it in the second half, i think we'll get more out of Clem Weso 7 - Works his bollocks off, but no impact in the game when we needed it Hume 7 - We can get more out of Hume Cort - 5 Shouldn't of played today Dj 6- Ok, needs a consistent striker partener.
Shroomjuice Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 Fulop - 8N'Gotty - 7 McAuley - 7 Kisnorbo - 7 Sheehan - 6 Hume - 7 Porter - 8 Clem - 7 Weso - 6 Cort - 6 DJ - 7 Tough decision for MOTM for me today between Levi and Fulop, but Fulop kept us in it, so he just shaves it. Poter 8? thats just comical, are you taking the pi%$

FleckneyFox Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 Fulop -8- Safe as houses no chance with goal N'Gotty -6.5- Sound enough quiet though McAuley -7- Same as N'Gotty Kisnorbo -7.5- Won every header every tackle but to much hoofing Sheehan -6.5- A half decent game Hume -7.5- Some excellent touches and good crosses Wesolowski -6.5- Quieter than in other games had one good chance Clemence -8- Fantastic passes good touches and brilliant leader Porter -6.5- good pace worked hard but no end product Campbell -7.5- Worked tirelessly came close a couple of times Cort -6.5- Looked a handful in first half but not yet match fit scored a goal that was dissallowed that shouldnt have been won most of his headers which is what he's there to do. The mathch on a whole we were the best team until we scored and then 2 negative substitutions ruined all our hard work and i also wasnt particularly pleased about Kisnorbo hoofing it every time he got the ball
Tommeh Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 7 - medicore8 - Close Shave for MOTM, this guy is our unsung hero Thats what the guy said. and I'm in full agreement, without McAuley and Clemence today we'd have had our heads down after their equaliser and gone onto loose. McAuley for me is our best defender and its about time he gets the credit he deserves
dog_4 Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 Marton Fulop obviously man of the match and i also felt dj campbell was out best outfield player, strange that he was taken off also the bench was crap today.
Simon Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 Fulop - 8N'Gotty - 7 McAuley - 7 Kisnorbo - 7 Sheehan - 6 Hume - 7 Porter - 8 Clem - 7 Weso - 6 Cort - 6 DJ - 7 Tough decision for MOTM for me today between Levi and Fulop, but Fulop kept us in it, so he just shaves it. Fulop- 8 N'Gotty- 6 McAuley- 6.5 Kisnorbo- 4.5 Sheehan- 6 Hume- 7 Clem- 5 Weso- 6 Porter- 5 DJ- 6.5 Cort- 6 Edit: I was maybe a touch harsh on DJ, who did run himself into the ground.

Lillehamring Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 Thats what the guy said.and I'm in full agreement, without McAuley and Clemence today we'd have had our heads down after their equaliser and gone onto loose. McAuley for me is our best defender and its about time he gets the credit he deserves i think he was questioning how mediocre and near mom were just 1 point apart...

HaHaHa Bert are you beng serious matey?
C-man Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 Fulop - 8 - 2 or 3 fantastic saves towards the end saved us a point. N'Gotty - 6 - Solid defensively but he's worse than Stearman for hoofing. McAuley - 6 - Again can't pass, but was solid enough. Kisnorbo - 7 - Another good performance from Kisnorbo, best of the back 4. Sheehan - 4 - Very poor - Can't control the ball, passing is average at best and his defending, particularly towards the end was diabolical. Hume - 6 - Tidy game but just didn't get in the game enough. Porter - 5 - Just can't beat a man and put in a good cross. Clem - 7 - Led by example in the middle of the park Weso - 6 - Performed well for the majority of the match, went missing at times. Cort - 6 - Clearly got tired around 60 mins and should have been replaced. Was impressed by his first half performance. DJ - 7 - Unlucky not to give us the lead in the first half. Much better game today than at Plymouth.
Tevez Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 7 - medicore8 - Close Shave for MOTM, this guy is our unsung hero Come on, tell me your view on Sheehan then. He's much better left midfield.

Thracian Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 Fulop: 6.5 (One brave and excellent save, another that didn't count, but some awful kicking). N'Gotty 6 (Not one of his best games) Kisnorbo 7 (Typically committed defending but someone allowed a guy free shot from in front of goal 30 yards out)) McAuley 6.5 (As above really) Sheehan 6.5 (Well involved and generally competent but Megson managed to waste all his strengths which I should have expected given his overall contribution) Hume 7 (Scored his second goal of the season albeit from a penalty. Was a constant menace but his corners were woeful and never threatened to beat the first defender) Clemence 6.5 (Flitted in and out of the game but so close to an outstanding goal when he hit the bar). Wesolowski 7.75 (Again MoM by a little way. Picked up so many of the pieces and was so reliable with his passing. Porter 6 (Two or three early crosses deserved a better fate but generally had insufficient effect except in a general suporting sense). Campbell 6.5 (Won the penalty and almost scored. Managed to be dangerous despite being only spasmodically involved). Cort 6 (Unlucky not to score with his disallowed goal but generally unconvincing). Subs: Chambers 3 (Seemingly lost on the right wing). Kishishev 3 (what did he offer or contribute in coming on?) Megson 0 (cost us the game with his indefensible and inexplicable substitutions and tactics once we took the lead).
