Bert Posted 16 September 2007 Author Posted 16 September 2007 I think your the drunk one mate, you aint my brother.
AoWW Posted 16 September 2007 Posted 16 September 2007 I think your the drunk one mate, you aint my brother. nope... me neither.
Nationwider Posted 16 September 2007 Posted 16 September 2007 I can't believe Sky couldn't find room for this beaut amongst all the Champions League bollocks.
davieG Posted 17 September 2007 Posted 17 September 2007 And i right now cannot fockin' wait for Forest!!! This is a game I'd normally go to but frankly I just can't be asked. LCFC and everything associated with it pisses me off at the moment and I'm not the only one 5 of us went to the first game and at least four of us feel the same, the 5th ain't too fussed either. And it's not an age thing either as 3 of the 5 are in their early 30s and have been regulars since they were kids. I can't believe I'm writing this about a LCFC V Forest game but that's the reality of the situation.
Master Fox Posted 17 September 2007 Posted 17 September 2007 I'm still rushing off that gram of speed i snorted last night!!!! That thought of Forest away gives me the erection i've not had since Wednesday last week. Buzzing! F ucking buzzing me tits off

Perhaps if you can't get behind the club, you should take a sabbatical. As a club, we have had highs and lows for as many years as I can remember - it makes us what and who we are as a club and as fans. And until some other foreigner takes us over with a bank balance of £50bn, it won't change that much. The reality is, is that MM WILL get us to the Premiership, and most likely keep us there for a season or two, perhaps longer, then he'll sell us on. So still more highs and lows to come, I think. You have made it clear what your feelings are, davieG. Mine are that we can't change anything so why not suffer this painful spell, get behind the club and stop being so negative. Failing that, take your negativity elsewhere. Because that's what pisses me off. Negativity. Get over it. You could be a Leeds fan. There. Better??

After 47 years supporting this club through thick and thin watching shite worse than anything I've seen recently I'll say what I want. This is a forum for people to express their views on LCFC and if you don't like to hear negativity then tough. I don't need you to tell me to suffer this painful spell because that's what I'm doing, obviously it's more painful for me than it is for you. Having been a ST holder for the last 15 years I'll decide when I'll stop going not you. If you can't take a bit of genuine despair at the state of our club then I think it's you that needs to go and support Man U or Chelsea because there will be more despair than joy for all LCFC fans, I guarantee it.
Guest Posted 17 September 2007 Posted 17 September 2007 When I first glanced at the title of this thread, I thought that it read "I've just had thrush".

WTF? Why? I have no problems with this! It's you that has the problem. I believe that MM and GM ( or another 18 managers) will do what MM has said he will do. If you have been going to the City for that long, then you have suffered through worse things. Are you saying that all those years of yo-yo-ing up and down were better than now? NOTHING that bad has happened this season. We are 5 games in, for God's sake. Oh, and as for the despair that you guarantee, how do you guarantee it? Are you in the know? NO. Are you MM? NO. I'm saying that if you are that pissed off, as you say, don't support them. Yeah, you decide. Not me. But if it's that bad, davie.... I am not having a go here, but come on.. you make it sound like we are going into administration or something. (Now that was a bad time).

Well if you could stop telling me not to support them that would be a start! Just because I'm depressed about the present state of the club, and no I don't trust MM does not mean I will stop supporting them, it just means I shan't be going to the forest game, like about 25,000 others. I have two season tickets and will still be going with one of my sons whilst continuing to feel negatively and despairingly about LCFC, I'm sorry if that offends you. I shall continue to express my feelings on this forum sometimes they will be up and sometimes they will be down, is that so unique? You'll just have to get used to the idea of disillusioned fans because they've always existed.

For the last 10 years, i have lived in Kent and am no longer a ST holder and cannot support the club I love with the same 'aggression' I used to. That for me, is a low. I miss it tremendously and somewhat envy those who can still get to every home game. I expect people to express different opinions. It was just that your first comments were unbelievably negative. I feel there is a difference in 'being low' and 'being negative'. There are fans and clubs much worse off than we are. At least we are still a club and, for all intent and purpose, moving forward. It is not at a rate that any of us are paricularly proud of, but at least we are moving forward. The Mogadon is in the post PS: I am going to use that quote about despair etc when I know how to insert it Your views do not offend me mate. I have thick skin. I am not disillusioned though. The reality is not as bad as people present.
Wils Posted 17 September 2007 Posted 17 September 2007 Would be terrible if i forgot to pick you up wouldnt it Berty?
lcfc_jme Posted 17 September 2007 Posted 17 September 2007 I'm going. Though I'm not looking forward to it as much this time as I'll be a lot more sober and we're almost certainly going to lose.
Raj Posted 17 September 2007 Posted 17 September 2007 Im going tomorrow along with Mrs Raj. Think shes looking forward to it more than me. Last time we sat near Tom from Kasabian and she thinks we'll be sitting next to him again.....i'm too scared to tell her the chance of that is the same as City winning the FA Cup!!! I also said i'd buy her a pizza if we won as opposed to a bag of chips if we lost. I'm a right tight bastard....and a prime tw@t too!
potter3 Posted 17 September 2007 Posted 17 September 2007 I'm looking forward to this one a bit more than the last one. Odd, really
Bert Posted 17 September 2007 Author Posted 17 September 2007 Would be terrible if i forgot to pick you up wouldnt it Berty? Yeah I guess it would. How you getting in the ground?
Wils Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 Yeah I guess it would. How you getting in the ground? Good point smart arse.
The People's Hero Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 Wils - see you in the pub before Charlton?
