David Villa Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I think the loudest chant of the night has to of been 'Cheerio, Cheerio' after Clemence's goal last night. Was anyone else on here in the escort last night from The Meadow Club, because how harsh were the Police over there the Cocks.
Raj Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I personally thought we got out of jail with the late goals We played well in the first half when we passed it around but then let Forst back into it,panicked and started hoofing it around. Thought sheehan and mattock had a really good first half.Fulop was good too,but im worried about our strikers. Still we won and thats the main thing. A good night for us and football. About time we had some positive exposure on the media for a change!!!
Trumpet Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Did anyone go on coach 6? Was quality on the way back! Mexican waves, "Were the riiiiight side were the righhht side" You know its been a good game when it carries on into the coaches!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Did anyone go on coach 6? Was quality on the way back! Mexican waves, "Were the riiiiight side were the righhht side"You know its been a good game when it carries on into the coaches! Had a bit of a different exit. Walked past the Amici wine bar where all the Forest thugs were being held captive by the coppers. Was mostly Forest fans walking past and this one bloke shouted "Nottingham!" and I burst out laughing. Couldn't help it, I was just grinning from ear to ear the whole way back to the car. He stared straight at me, then apparently (I missed this bit, Manwell told me about it), moved two or three yards away then shouted "I'm gonna get you". He then started mumbling a load of bigoted nonsense about Pakis and Asians and how he could never live with so many of "them". Bunch of wankers, they really are.

Luckily in Leicester people of all faiths can live alongside each other in harmony...long may it continue!!! We was walking to the car and saw 3 City young lads in an altercation with a bloke Only saw the back of the bloke for a start then he turned around and no joke he was about 60 years old!!! He ended up kicking one of the young lads! Luckily his mates(the City fans!) just dragged him away as i think they knew he was an old tw@t. As we walked passed him my missus actually gave this old bloke daggers as if to say "you should be ashamed at yourself" I was expecting a kick myself from this old tw@t but he just mumbled something(NON RACIST may i add...i think he said leicester pricks!) My missus said she wanted to kick him bakc on behalf of the young lads!!! I'd have loved to have seen that...the little yobb!!! P.S.....She is a teacher at a Leicester College!!!
Simi Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 What a way to win a football match that is So much emotion and jubilation just jumping on random people and all sorts of carnage. Although I have a big bruise down my leg where I got squashed up against a chair during the celebrations! I wasn't to confident when it turned 80 minutes. I thought it looked like we'd given up attacking and with Dr Vries not having his best game, our way of going forward was going to be limited. When Stearman scored I think everyone was preparing for extra time, but when it arrived at Clemences foot you just thought "oh no he's not going to go and win it! But he did, and after that it was sensational!
Floating Fox Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Don't think even Fulham last year was as much of an emotional roller-coaster as that. 85mins I had my head in my hands & didnt believe in us at all & to go from that to win the FOOOKING GAME. C'MON. I couldn't believe it! Thought it was quite Ironice that we hit a fox on the way home though
morris1234 Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 it was soooo good last night, and i know we didnt really deserve it in the second half! just a question really, who on here was on coach 9?? it was so funny on the way there and back! on the way there i had somebody pissing in a bottle in the seat behind me because we had no toilets and on the way back was hilarious!! bit out of hand with the racist comments on 'MELON ROAD'!!! 'MILF MILF MILF' ahahahaa
Leicester Lass Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Did anyone go on coach 6? Was quality on the way back! Mexican waves, "Were the riiiiight side were the righhht side"You know its been a good game when it carries on into the coaches! Yeah I did Even the driver was joining in with the wave (when we were stopped at a red light, obviously)
Simi Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Me and Joe were on coach 10. Wasn't the best, I'm sure random people just jumped on our coach

Sods Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Did anyone go on coach 6? Was quality on the way back! Yeah, Ithink thats the one , did you see the when the coppers pushed a lad up against the side of the bridge?
Tevez Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Yeah, Ithink thats the one , did you see the when the coppers pushed a lad up against the side of the bridge? Villa was with me, i thought Jamie was going to go overboard.
JoeyB Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Great night, when our 3rd went in i about fell down stairs 20! Great night tho' Villa will be better!
Steven Posted 19 September 2007 Author Posted 19 September 2007 Was there a rumour last night at the ground about Megson resigning.
Thracian Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I heard that. I also wondered if any city fans left the ground early and missed the comeback. I rarely understand people leaving before the end but what a sickener if would have been to hear the roar for the equaliser and perhaps even greater celebration when the winner went in. To have witnessed 85/86 minutes of a game that will be long remembered and then miss the climax would have been so hard to take.
Lillehamring Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 the times Megson attempted to address his team’s impotence by introducing Matty Fryatt at the expense of DJ Campbell, but within seconds of the change, Forest went ahead again, this time through Tyson. Set up by a superb long pass from Kris Commons, the Forest striker dispatched a low, left-foot shot past Fulop. As befitting a strike from a sportsman of such a name, the goal appeared to be tantamount to a knock-out blow. And while Leicester could not be accused of throwing in the towel, their response was muted until, with seconds remaining, Richard Stearman equalised with a weak shot. so, according to the times - what would be described as route one football if we'd have done it is praised, yet stearman's flick, turn and shoot skill is described as weak - for a defender on his weaker foot i think it was a sweet shot - after all how many times do we see michael owen waste chances cause he won't even try his left peg... shame, cause an otherwise good report.
NFFC Chris Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Credit to your club as a whole for letting us score that goal, you have really gone up in my estimation and have to credit Meggo for agreeing as well,he could have been bitter towards us and refuse but he's shown none whatsoever towards us which is nice.Just a shame he got all that abuse, anyway well done,we bloody could'nt hold on again and good luck against the Villa!
robbieLOVESthealmightylcfc Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 who cares about the cons, we beat forest away! that the main point and it feels good. lets get a away draw against villa and finish them of at he walkers like we should have done last season.
