Unabomber Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I agree, and also I couldn't believe that he even managed to make it go out, when it looked destined to curl inside the post even if he saved it due to his position. Up there is the tackle he did, which was great and amazing how he didn't even conceed a freekick. When Forest where dominating us with corner after corner it was like the ultimate parallel to Henderson last time round. He dealt with every single cross Forest put in, and he claims alot more corners than he misses. We just need an outlet now so we can quickly break, Kaebi maybe.

Basically it was a towering header from point blank range (a bit like Agogo's goal in the first game) towards the corner of the net which the Trent End started celebrating when suddenly you could see Fulop's arm through the crowd of players in the area. Incredible reflexes and somehow managed to push it behind as well, not just get a glove on it. Definitely the best save I've seen from a Leicester keeper for years.

So was the earlier one when he forced Agogo wide and got back into position and made the block when the ball came back in and safe as houses on crosses Lets hope we can get him onboard permanently all round fine goalkeeper, whereas Henderson can shot-stop but his game management (crosses, kicks, common sense) is often missing

If i remember correctly we have a agreed a fee to sign him at the end of the Loan deal should everyone want to do so... he is here for the season and so there isnt actually any rush to sign him permanently... other than the fact that other clubs might try and tap him up..... thats what i would be fearful of...

Koke Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I could not believe he saved that. I already had my hands on my head and how he kept that header out is a mystery. The Forest fans were literally up celebrating but only Fulop knows how he got to that ball. Incredible save.

Bojimha Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I didnt see the Fulop save but the best I can remember was Kasey Keller against Newcastle about 8 years ago (?!?) when we played them in the prem. He made some great saves that day, three top class ones. I think Ferdinand was in disbelief at two of them, he couldnt believe they had been saved!

As far as I remember, from the media coverage he was absolutely phenomenal that day. Can't recall specific saves, as I wasn't there, though!
