Durnerz Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Tyson Thoughts? On last nights evidence he showed Campbell up and looks decent.
Mark Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 He's pacey but that last night is his only goal this season? If he's to play ahead of De Vries and Cort I'd take him.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Sounds like a non-starter to me. I think he's a bit overrated but he'd be a good option. We do need someone with both height and pace.

You will neevr get him on loan, he was teh first striker to score for us this season last night so im guessing hes going to be a regular starter from now on. I would be amazed if he went to leicester, i wouldnt be guttered though because hes hugely overated. Hes quick yes but thats about it.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I was waiting for this rumour to rear its ugly head. This is just pure telegraph....
dandannieldanok Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I'd be happy with him, can't be no worse than what we've got.
Ric Flair Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Think a swap deal for Fryatt might be on.
filbertway Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Surely we don't need another average/poor championship striker? Why can't we be looking at strikers that are on the fringes at prem teams instead?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Surely we don't need another average/poor championship striker? Why can't we be looking at strikers that are on the fringes at prem teams instead? Not after last time. This message was brought to you by the words fingers, burnt, Elvis and Hammond.
Master Fox Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Think a swap deal for Fryatt might be on. I hope so, Unless we send them a player their way they will blatantly tell us to f uck off !
Maybes Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 He looked lively last night. Wouldn't be a bad addition. Cant see it happening though!
dandannieldanok Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Think a swap deal for Fryatt might be on. I hope you are completely wrong, no offence.
JoeyB Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 He's pacey but that last night is his only goal this season? If he's to play ahead of De Vries and Cort I'd take him. He's been injured tho' Knee injury iirc
BigGibbo Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I wanted us to buy Tyson from wycombe when they bought him for half a mill he's got the potential to blow in this league in a marlon king david johnson mould but the player i want from forest is Kris Commons much more necessary for us
filbertway Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Not after last time. This message was brought to you by the words fingers, burnt, Elvis and Hammond. Ok then, Premier players on the fringes who are proven goal scorers at this/prem level and can actually still run. Maybe I was a little vague and lefy myself open to that Although, Me and JME are lovers of Elvis, he has IMPACT IMPACT IMPACT!!!!
Geo V Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Surely we don't need another average/poor championship striker? Why can't we be looking at strikers that are on the fringes at prem teams instead? Not many of those are available and those who have dropped into the championship like Todorov, Fowler and JFH are hardly setting the division alight! Even the lower league strikers who cost a few pounds like Billy Sharp and Izale McLeod arent doing it either yet. Whatever we do it will be a gamble so a loan with an option to buy for someone like Tyson may be worth it, especially as he has suffered from injury in recent times. He has a useful scoring record though... Wycombe Wanderers 78 (42) Nottingham Forest 55 (17)
Moreton Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 TysonThoughts? On last nights evidence he showed Campbell up and looks decent. Dunno about this one, suppose he would be ok to have but i dout forest would let one of their best players out on loan
adam Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 No thank you, Think Fryatt would do more of a job.

Wycombe Wanderers 78 (42) Nottingham Forest 55 (17) Hasn't todorov scored 3 or 4 though this season? And afterwards i did mention that they'd have to be able to RUN, which rules out Fowler and JFH I'd take Fryatt over Tyson any day anyway, so I wouldn't want him here, I'm probably the only that thinks this though, Fryatts gathered a bit of a hate club.
NFFC Chris Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Would'nt be too happy with a swap deal as Fryatt really isn't really an improvement on Tyson and we would basically be swapping one injury prone player for another.Heard Ian Breckin could be off to you on an 'emergency' loan.Let's hope so
Tevez Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Who's going to be linked next? Lennon? Perch? Bennett? He may be a gangster friend for Elvis.
