Ozwin Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Constantly in the papers and on the news and whatnot. It's great to see for a change.
Bernie's Love Child Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 It's great to see it's for the RIGHT reasons for a change!
Ozwin Posted 19 September 2007 Author Posted 19 September 2007 Totally. I remember when the Portugese (I think it was Portugal) trip went horribly wrong and we were in the news constantly for bloody ages. Wasn't nice to see or discuss, but now it is.

Micky Ruddle Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I err think that the sub-headline was Leicester's sporting gesture. Thats as far as i can understand
Teammelli Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Care to translate some of what that is on about? Well it's about Leicester's sporting gesture that they let Paul smith score
Daggers Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I err think that the sub-headline was Leicester's sporting gesture. Thats as far as i can understand ...but I think the third paragraph (about stuffing virgins with live rabbits) was confusing and wholly uncalled for.
BigGibbo Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Well it's about Leicester's sporting gesture that they let Paul smith score o.k
JoeyB Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Well it can only be good for the club, and building up our foreign reputation.
Lillehamring Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Well it can only be good for the club, and building up our foreign reputation. for the record: http://www.vg.no/pub/vgart.hbs?artid=166700 http://www.dagbladet.no/sport/2007/09/19/512529.html not bad considering rosenborgs result and solskjær's man utd coaching job...
lee7 Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 good to see that we are in the news for something good.
Lovejoy Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 It's quality that our club get more media interest than the other 71 football league clubs added together
Fox Genius Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Even made it on News Round and that takes some beating
Ultra Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 It's quality that our club get more media interest than the other 71 football league clubs added together Especially when it distracts from the league position (19th last time I looked...)
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 Especially when it distracts from the league position (19th last time I looked...) sssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhh they don't need to know!! It didn't make the papers over here
purpleronnie Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 I'd rather be in the papers because we are top of the league.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 My brother said the goal was on the prime time free to air news over here in the sport which must means it is and lcfc is looked upon very favourible
sdb Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 highlights of the forest game are 1 of the most watched vids on youtube atm
Geo V Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 If its not La Manga, administration, takeovers, Gary Lineker and general madness its something else. We are always in the media and it has got worse when the media whore that is Milan Mandaric took over. MM is always on SS talking about everything from managers, American "Soccer" or whatever. Its not a bad thing though as it keeps us in the media and may be a factor when player recruitment is concerned so i wont complain.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 27 September 2007 Posted 27 September 2007 Theres another small paragraph about Leicester in the main Melbourne paper over here i even had a work collegue come over to me and ask if that was my team that knocked off Villa
Messi Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 Totally. I remember when the Portugese (I think it was Portugal) trip went horribly wrong and we were in the news constantly for bloody ages. Wasn't nice to see or discuss, but now it is. Are you talking about the incident in La Manga...?
