Brainy Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Did well to get onto a computer after the Charlton game pal...where are you Grenwich??? I heard Allen was at QPR today. If maddog wasn't at Leicester, then i'd only presume he took Mandaric's advice and followed him.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 "Iwelumo and Varney score to comfortably defeat Leicester and leave them without a league win since August 25. Once again Hossein Kaebi and Marco Ferreira were left out of the squad while Radostin Kishishev was placed on the sub's bench. I have no idea why Megson used Richard Stearman over former AC Milan defender Bruno N'Gotty, and James Chambers was in midfield over Bulgarian international Kishishev. Honestly, Kaebi should just leave if he's to find regular first-team football. A player who features heavily in the Iranian national team and played in the 2006 FIFA World Cup doesn't deserve to play in the reserves. IMHO, Leicester should be focusing on promotion, not investing youth players for the future. For the record, I will remember the Iranian's debut appearance against Watford, because it will most likely be his last as long as Gary Megson is manager." A view from BBC 606.
et0o7 Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 eww saliva plashing.. be nice gentlemen,we deadly want Megson out cuz we got loss, and just got out of the game...I WANT MEGSON OUT RIGHT NOW!!!! Thats the hormone, foxes. I think after 2 hours I want him back in to see how the next couple of games will be.Trust our players and trust our manager all the time, thats true!
Daggers Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 This club is in no better a league position than when we were skint and with Rob Kelly. Absolute nonsense.
ASH17LCFC Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Absolute nonsense. I know we where higher in the league with rob kelly.
Suffolk_fox Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 I know we where higher in the league with rob kelly. At this point of the season, positions mean fook all pal.
ASH17LCFC Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 At this point of the season, positions mean fook all pal. Yep go and tell that too the leeds fans mate.
Daggers Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 I know we where higher in the league with rob kelly. ...And? ...So? We have stopped hemorrhaging money, we are able to dabble in the transfer market and we have demonstrated signs of hope for the future on the field...things we never did under the old board and management. Off the field, the entire operation of LCFC has been placed on a more professional business footing. There's people on this forum that I believed had more intelligence than to come out with the bollocks they are writing at the moment, expecting an over-night recovery from a patient that has been in intensive care for a number of seasons. It's ridiculous. To state that we are no further forward from one year ago is just abject idiocy.
Suffolk_fox Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Yep go and tell that too the leeds fans mate. Most Leeds fans are ecstatic at how their team is playing. Remember, they are only where they are because of their points deduction! Also - Do you really think Man City will be in the Top 3 at the end of the season? And Spurs will be in the relegation zone?

Have they only just started following us or something??
Corky Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Hello everyone, I am a new member to this forum. I am Joe, I live in Norwich and have been a season-ticket holder for 8 years, this is my ninth season. I'm 17 years old and at college. About Megson: I was not impressed with his appointment, and I would rather have Allen in charge I'm afraid. Last week against Qpr we were poor, and lacked creativeness and sat back on a 1-0 lead, when we badly needed a second goal. I didn't go to Forest in midweek, but from reports we played poorly and were lucky to get through. Today it seemed like we started well, conceded two quick goals and then it was a stroll in the park for Charlton. I will still give my backing to Megson, I can't see us getting anything from Aston Villa on Wednesday, but we need a big performance and desperately need a victory against Stoke at home next Saturday. The Fixtures that are coming up are not easy, and we have to start winning matches soon. I'll give Megson up until Barnsley in October, then we can really judge him. At Least Coventry are getting thrashed.
Flexx Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 If we sacked a manager after 1 league game, I can assure you maddog you will not find a replacement. Why would you walk into a job knowing that you will get stick for a 2-0 loss to an established premiership side over the past few years. Why are you even starting these stupid threads about sacking him so soon. I didn't notice any of this after we beat Forest. Unpatient the lot of you saying Megson out.

Brainy Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Welcome Joe, good post And yup, Ipswich look impressive.
l444ry Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Well he has been on record to say even if it takes him 20 managers to suceed he will use 20 Evidently. But bear in mind that he even lost the only manager that has ever succeeded under him, having to go back cap in hand to Redknapp to save his skin a second time. So I wouldn't hold out much hope that, even if he does get lucky, Mandaric will somehow contrive to keep that one manager in twenty you have so much faith in.
ASH17LCFC Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Agreed Some of the ****wits on this forum these days. We'd change manager each time we lost. Have they only just started following us or something?? Yes but the last 3 games have been dire. I like the fact how you make out just because people who don't agree with milan and don't like megson. They are ****wits. Most people on here are under 16 so hardly like they have been following leicester for many years have they ? Go forth and multiply you muppet.
Daggers Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Have they only just started following us or something?? Like baby ducks, they imprinted on one of us...I think they were swimming in a pond when Fez walked by and they ended up here. And like little ducks, I wish they'd go get plucked.

Most people on here are under 16 so hardly like they have been following leicester for many years have they ? Go forth and multiply you muppet. They are ****wits because they don't understand that stability is very important. You can't start sacking a manager everytime we play shite - we'd have a new manager every other week! TBH, even if we wanted Megson replaced we would have to give him a year to show his replacement that there is some sort of job security in this club. So you go forth, pal.
Daggers Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 I like the fact how you make out just because people who don't agree with milan and don't like megson. They are ****wits. It's not the dislike of MM or Meggers: it's the reason for the dislike and the lack of thought that makes them ****wits.

I agree i would love to finish 10th and i reckon Allen would have achieved that. Now how we gonna get stability, when milan keeps going on about premiership and going up fast. Sacking managers doesn't give you stability does it ?

I know - what do they expect, us to win every game on the trot all season? Everyone has there off days, do you see the Liverpool fans calling for Benitez to get sacked after a 0-0 home draw to Birmingham? We beat Watford 4-1, did there manager get sacked after they lost. This club needs stability, we have a 3 year plan not a 1 year. People are so unpatient.
sdb Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 people just love to say ''x' out''. like it's really dramatic and original. today was crap, megson's now won 1, lost 1. how bloody stupid do you have to be to want him sacked?! he doesn't even know our best 11 (evidently). if things continue like today for a month or 2 then he's not right, but can we stop being so bloody OTT all the time please?! i've got a feeling MM will leave soon btw.
Sparky Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 i think we have to back megson and just give him a fair crack , mandaric has picked him and we cant change that , either we stop the childish crap on here and get behind the club or we sack him and go through the repeitive shit of looking for another manager . mandaric has selected 1 good manager from around 10 picks so what says the next manager will be any better we gotta stay behind the team
