maddog Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 2-0 defeat to Charlton, didn't even try to attack and get back in game. Id give him a few more games then get him out if results dont come our way. i know we can't get Allen back and no good manager would want to come here as there is no job security with Milan. I would put Taggart in charge see what he can do. Possibly another former player as assistant. Former players look like the only passionate possible managers who will really care about Leicester City. Them and Allen who we won't get back. I just cant believe this has happened, so much optimism pre season, thought it would be different with new signings, Hossein Kaebi and Martin Allen, but Allen has gone Kaebi hasn't and probably won't play and most of the new signings apart from Clemence, Dj, Chambers, N Gotty don't even play
Master Fox Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 It's about time we got this up and running.
maddog Posted 22 September 2007 Author Posted 22 September 2007 Wait for the fans who went to the game, payed their money and watched it to get back and im sure the get him out now votes will be flying in.
ithuriel Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 to be honest i did not want him here in the first place but if we sack him are we in for another second rate manager
Brainy Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Maddog, can you stop speaking on behalf of all the fans? Not every fan wants a manager out after their first loss, even if performances have been dire.

FFS - His first league game in charge. - and people were cursing MM for sacking Allen after 4? Bizarre At least Megson will start to see what a shambles Allen put together and hopefully figure out a way to sort it out. 1 League game down - give him at least another! Bottom line is we have positions being filled by not good enough yet youth players (without even a backup to them), a currently haplass front line, no wide players of any ability - none caused by Megson but by the guy the idiots were singing for at Forest - losers.

We tried a succession of defence orientated managers. It is time we had someone who understands attacking. Not necessarily Mike Newell but someone like him.
Wycombe Fox Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 I'm back from boiling me head now. I've had enough already which is really unlike me but having been built-up to having a decent season it's all going t*ts-up and I'm mega p*ssed off at the moment. Megson will be out by the end of November at the latest.
Mort Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 I'm all for giving the guy a chance, but what on earth recommended him for the job in the first place (even with options few and far between he was one of the weaker candidates) and in the past three games has he done any thing to dispel the fears most of us have always had over his appointment?
Webbo Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Give it a rest will ya? Allen's gone and we won't be getting a new manager until March (and then only if things are desperate) at the earliest.
ithuriel Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 what was it that was said at his press conference when he was announced , 7 weeks or something?
Leicester Rule! Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 what was it that was said at his press conference when he was announced , 7 weeks or something? too long !
Ozwin Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Why isn't Kaebi playing? Hume on the right clearly isn't working! And we're one place outside the relegation zone now, I know it's early, very early even, but things need to be sorted. >_> I don't want another season of worrying again. Last season about killed me.
Suffolk_fox Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Un-fcuking-believable. We are only Leicester City, not Real Madrid. Bad news for you Maddog. Whoever we have as a manager, we will sometimes play awful. We will lose games. We will sometimes get our tactics wrong. Even if we were a top side. Just how long have you been watching football? And don't look at your watch!! Face it, we have a 2nd rate squad with a few shining stars. We won't get better for a while yet.
maddog Posted 22 September 2007 Author Posted 22 September 2007 what was it that was said at his press conference when he was announced , 7 weeks or something? in 7 weeks we will be bottom

Bert Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 All we're going to be playing is hoof ball, so if your looking forward to watch it, then well i don't know what to say.
maddog Posted 22 September 2007 Author Posted 22 September 2007 get a life. first league game you idiot!!!!!! thats why i put id give him more games and if results don't come our way get him out.Whats the point in keeping him and losing more games then getting rid of him when we are bottom, when we can get rid of him when we are 4th bottom
Thracian Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Maddog, can you stop speaking on behalf of all the fans? Not every fan wants a manager out after their first loss, even if performances have been dire. You're right. In my experience the stalwart fans won't want a change for ages. Let's just see what they say.
maddog Posted 22 September 2007 Author Posted 22 September 2007 looking forward to watching Villa Wednesday. Be good to watch exciting pacy players like Young and Agbonlahor if they play.
maddog Posted 22 September 2007 Author Posted 22 September 2007 You're right. In my experience the stalwart fans won't want a change for ages. Let's just see what they say. hello! i don't want him out now in a few games, moan at the people who have voted get him out now
Ozwin Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 To be fair though, it's not the players first league game is it? There's all this about a new manager and a new tactic or two, but the players can still play, a new manager doesn't mean the players need teaching how to play again. The players need to sort it out just as much as the manager IMO. The thing to look out for is how they pick themselves up in the next game, that'll show how good a manager Megson actually is.
Tevez Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 maddog, piss off. Gary Megson's Blue and White Army, get behind the team or just piss off, because your getting on my nerves.
Suffolk_fox Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 hello! i don't want him out now in a few games, moan at the people who have voted get him out now "A few games" and "Ages". Bit of a difference Maddog. Give Megson until the end of the season at the very very least. At least we'd have a modicum of stability.
