Koke Posted 5 October 2007 Posted 5 October 2007 The UEFA Cup has this terrible system running, a group of 5 where 3 go through. Are they still doing that shit this year? That's just bizarre.
MC Prussian Posted 5 October 2007 Posted 5 October 2007 Nice to see Zurich eking out a win against Empoli. Basel has gone through to the next stage, as well. Sion's away loss against Fenerbahce was expected from the start, but still congratulations for winning it 3-2 at home (after leading 3-0). Still two Swiss sides in the run, any win in the group stage will be an added bonus (financially and FIFA-Ranking-wise)...
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 October 2007 Author Posted 25 October 2007 Restored to it's former glory! Who are you watching tonight then?? Got to be Larissa Everton for me, the prospect of watching Ibrahima Bakayoko and Nick the Greek again gets me quite excited
purpleronnie Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Wish Aberdeen was on, probably give this round a miss not really interested in the english teams left in.
Tubes Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 What channel is Bolton on tonight? Want to see there reaction to Ginger B*llox
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 October 2007 Author Posted 25 October 2007 What channel is Bolton on tonight? Want to see there reaction to Ginger B*llox Don't think Bolton are on at all, due to the fact that all the English clubs kick off at 7.45 - 8 and only two channels run UEFA Cup football. Aberdeen will be on the BBC in Scotland. 17:00 kick off.

Manwell Pablo Posted 25 October 2007 Author Posted 25 October 2007 Turns out I was talking shit and they aren't on. Which is strange as the BBC normally cover UEFA cup games in Scotland.

Joe. Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Good result for Everton. Unfortunate for Bolton. Tottenham's sounded like their own fault.

MC Prussian Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 Hmm... Good start for "our" sides. Both Zurich and Basle have won their respective matches. It's looking promising for once.
