Ah hahahahahahahahah I can't help but laugh at this. My mate at work is a Palace fan and he said to me the day before we played them that it was only a matter of time.

He did make Beckham England captain don't you know :D

...thus proving to the nation, as well as ourselves, what a fcukwit he was...

Perhaps Becks should give him a cut of his earnings.

No matter how they perform some people get a reserved seat on the gravy train - and Peter Taylor is one of them. The game will look after him. As Harry Redknapp might say, he's a football man. An insider. Part of the furniture. His talent or otherwise as a manager won't come into it.

Good point, I never like to see anyone out of work but it would be nice if he got tucked away at the FA where he can do little damage.

We've got too many in there already and they cause loads of damage, witness the Wembley Stadium and the National Football Academy fiascos, not to mention the England team managment.

he could carve out a new career doing norman wisdom impressions :)

I thought that's what he'd been doing all these years.

Taylor proves he knows something about football :D

One for the future - £1.5 million pounds worth of it.

Note: Don't get me wrong I liked Benjamin but Taylor was crap

Benjamin receives monthly honour

Hereford striker Trevor Benjamin has been named as League Two's player of the month for September. The much-travelled front man scored four goals in five league games for the Bulls during the month.

Benjamin moved to Edgar Street in the summer, and Hereford are the 16th club of his league career.

I grew up with Trev. Used to play football with him. He lived 4 doors away from my parents house. Good bloke, good footballer, sadly in the same league as Taylor - never really gonna make it above League 1 or 2.

Oh, he runs a cleaning business that my future sister-in-law works for too. Badly lol lol lol

Sorry 'bout that :D

Would now bw a good time to offer a shirt for sale.

It's a Leicester shirt signed by Peter Taylor.

Who wants it??

He seems to be a decent coach but hasn't got a clue about buying players. He would do well in Italy or Spain when he just gets a squad of players and has no involvement in player recruitment.

He`ll now be fighting MA for the same types of jobs lol

lol at the Palace chairman disrespecting Taylor and mocking his sacking on this C4 show "The Fanbanta show". Ive never really watched it but its quite funny but this pig Simon Jordan is so up his own ar$e its unreal. Very disrespectful and said that he likes Milan Mandaric and did not rule out the rumours of Neil Warnock taking over at Palace. :|

still think this is a bit of a myth like the Rob Kelly is a good coach at Leicester Taylor managed to turn one of the fittest and hardest working sides into a team that wasn't fit enough to play 90mins much like Rob Kelly

I just think at the end of the day he like many others have said is a good manager at League 1/2 level but no higher

Was funny though. What did he say? Something like some people are needed others are not, Peter from Monday you are the latter.'

He was going on about some managers rise above confrontation (after the pair clashed) and some just act like babies, obviously in reference to Dowie too. I cant remember it all but what was evident was that he was being a bit comfortable with the late night show and surroundings and lowered his guard by being quite rude about sacking PT. If Milan did that regarding MA I think we`d have had a riot on our hands lol

Colin willy puller to be unveiled as Palace manager soon.

its funny, each time we have played palace last few yrs its been "did you cry at wemberleeeee?" followed by "peter taylor what a willy puller etc"

now it transfers to "neil warnock what a willy puller"

palace fans must think we have it in for them but they are just a joke club.
