Bareknucklefoxer. Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 According to radio 5live, he's been given his marching orders.
Bert Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 Couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke. Taylor Sacked By Ziggy.
Bareknucklefoxer. Posted 8 October 2007 Author Posted 8 October 2007 Taylor quoted that "the team looked scared and played with no intigraty(sp)" .... Sound familiar ? Ho hum..

SOCCERROO FOX Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 What a shame i heard McDonalds is looking for staff
mancunianfox Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ace/7034020.stm Dissapointed tbh. Hoped he would stay there for longer although now he is free to go and mess up another one of our rivals next.
Lancsfox Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 caught out again the prat, go back to dover youre not even worthy of them Delighted he's back in the ranks of the unemployed.
The People's Hero Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 I've had a number of chats with Steve Butler. If there was ever anyone who chanced upon a job and found themselves thrust not only out of their depth but also beyond their care, it was him.
lookwhaticando Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 Back to the lower half of the league structure where he so clearly belongs.
davieG Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 He did make Beckham England captain don't you know
The People's Hero Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 Back to the lower half of the league structure where he so clearly belongs. I look forwards to the day that people learn he's a coach, not a manager. That's not to say he's a great coach - I don't know, but he's certainly not a manager.
lookwhaticando Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 He did make Beckham England captain don't you know In every report you read about the man, they mention that little factoid, no matter how irrelevant it is. What the hell has him making Beckham captain got to do with his shite managerial record at club level when he's had money to spend? It has to be one of the most spurious claims to fame of any football league manager today. "Never mind that he's been shit in the top two divisions whenever he's had money to spend... he made Beckham captain, don't you know?"
Fez of Mahrez Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 I look forwards to the day that people learn he's a coach, not a manager. That's not to say he's a great coach - I don't know, but he's certainly not a manager. But enough about Rob Kelly...
Joe. Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 Ha. That's all I have to say on this comedic matter.
Ric Flair Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 Peter Taylor back to Gillingham. Martin Allen to Crystal Palace or QPR, surely?. Or will the Tango man got for Warnock or Hoddle?
Jack Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 Peter Taylor back to Gillingham.Martin Allen to Crystal Palace or QPR, surely?. Or will the Tango man got for Warnock or Hoddle? I'd agree with that. MA to Qpr Warnock to Palace
FilboFox Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 Well looks like CP have finally come to their senses! He's a twat that can't successfully manage above League 1!
Rocky Dennis Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 I Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate that man.
MC Prussian Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 I don't have anything in particular against Taylor, it's just that his managerial capabilities are overrated and that he has no sense whatsoever of how to deal with transfers... *Speaker announcement* "Mr. Peter Taylor, Mr. Peter Taylor - please report to League One! - Mr. Peter Taylor, please!"
