Simi Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 poor tomassi has no internet and wonders when the game is taking place (ordinarily i would look through the thread but i am online for only a couple mins, not good being poor!) Over 21's Vs Under 21's, Victoria Park, 2pm, Saturday January 27th.
James. Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Err can someone who knows stuff let me know if I am playing in this. I remember putting my name down. Am I on the bench? Hope so.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Err can someone who knows stuff let me know if I am playing in this. I remember putting my name down. Am I on the bench? Hope so. Yeah you're on the bench. We're going to stick you on with ten to go to grab a scrambled equaliser.
James. Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Yeah you're on the bench. We're going to stick you on with ten to go to grab a scrambled equaliser. Wo no one said aything about actually playing. That said I can probably do a Peter Crouch type role, I have the physique if not the ability.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 The Saturday is the 26th January, not the 27th by the way.
Guest Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Wo no one said aything about actually playing. That said I can probably do a Peter Crouch type role, I have the physique if not the ability. Seeing as Crouch has no ability, how does that work?
Finnegan Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Seeing as Crouch has no ability, how does that work? Would this be the same, ability-less Peter Crouch that's scored as many goals for his country as Wayne Rooney has, in almost half the internationals?
lildave3 Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Would this be the same, ability-less Peter Crouch that's scored as many goals for his country as Wayne Rooney has, in almost half the internationals? Hmmm. Who were the teams that Crouch scored his goals against, and how many have they each assisted. Could make interesting reading.
Finnegan Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Hmmm.Who were the teams that Crouch scored his goals against, and how many have they each assisted. Could make interesting reading. So Rooney only scores against Italy, France, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, et cetera? Like Crouch or not, he's effective. He's there to score goals and he scores goals.
Alexikokopops Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Hmmm.Who were the teams that Crouch scored his goals against, and how many have they each assisted. Could make interesting reading. The same teams that none of our other World Class strikers could score against.

He's there to score goals and he scores goals. I never said he wasn't effective, I just don't think you can compare the two players.
filbertway Posted 29 December 2007 Posted 29 December 2007 So Rooney only scores against Italy, France, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, et cetera? Like Crouch or not, he's effective. He's there to score goals and he scores goals. I wish he was welsh the useless tosser. He gets too much credit for being a white adebeyor. Tall clumbsy and pretty much weak.

Simi Posted 29 December 2007 Posted 29 December 2007 Who's this? Ramp? 6:15AM? I bet you haven't been sleep either.
lildave3 Posted 29 December 2007 Posted 29 December 2007 6:15AM? I bet you haven't been sleep either. Bet I have. I hadn't been sleep the day before, so I fell asleep at about half 10 watching Omid Djalili (must have been good), yet still i wake up at half bastard 4.

Guest Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Would this be the same, ability-less Peter Crouch that's scored as many goals for his country as Wayne Rooney has, in almost half the internationals? Every single one a fluke. Well, almost.
Finnegan Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 I wish someone would bundle in 14 flukes in 24 games for City.
Sparky Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 Anyway back to the match , i hope the under 21s crash and burn
lildave3 Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 Anyway back to the match , i hope the under 21s crash and burn You're a centre back aren't you? I hope you're not quick. Or good.
