Bert Posted 14 January 2008 Posted 14 January 2008 That's a good shout. I doubt all the pitches will be being used on a Saturday. Same pitch as last time?
Hullfox Posted 14 January 2008 Posted 14 January 2008 I think if people are making the effort to come long distances (me), we should book a pitch. I'd be right royally pissed off if none were available.
Raj Posted 14 January 2008 Posted 14 January 2008 Vicky Park has loads of PItches. However when i drove past in on Sat(2pm ish!) they had a Rugby type tournament on and loads of pitches were in use. Manny could ring up and ask if they got owt on that weekend,if they aint then no need to book. If not we can play jumpers for goals at Abbey Park!!!!
Finnegan Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 At your own risk might I add. That being if we turn up and all 12 pitches are in use, It's not Manwells fault. I happily WILL pay. I'll even pay double, for not paying last time, and get you a pint in. I just thought you said we weren't booking.

Having looked at it, we could well of got kicked off if we hadn't booked one anyway. I'll get the cheque off tomorrow.

Thracian Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 I have no issues in paying my dues!!!!Is Mrs Hullfox comming?????? :D What a good question.
The People's Hero Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 Me too I'm not a gay man, nor a homophobe as it goes. But I'd just like to express my love (platonic although arguably sexual given half a chance) for Hullfox.
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 January 2008 Author Posted 15 January 2008 :D What a good question. Do you know if your coming yet?
Hullfox Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 Do you know if your coming yet? Depends on whether people are going to be 100% committed. I have no issues in paying my dues!!!!Is Mrs Hullfox comming?????? Of course she is.
The People's Hero Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 Top notch, we've got an ex-Enderby Town/Leicester United player on OUR books. What have you got? Huh?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 Top notch, we've got an ex-Enderby Town/Leicester United player on OUR books. What have you got? Huh? I'm not sure Raj being the official mascot for those clubs in the mid 90s really counts as being on the books, per se. The hippo costume would raise a laugh or two though.

You know what I meant. Oh and I finished as top scorer for Senacre Dolphins U15's/14's ,can't remember which, once upon a time. Have that!
Dr The Singh Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 Depends on whether people are going to be 100% committed.Of course she is. Wonderful, I look forward to paying back the favour she did me!!!!
Thracian Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 Top notch, we've got an ex-Enderby Town/Leicester United player on OUR books. What have you got? Huh? What did happen to Enderby Town/Leicester United? Played against them stacks of times as a 14/15-year-old with Midland Athletic and Anstey Nomads. Quality side at the time. I remember a guy called Dave Scriggins at centre-forward and a right-back who also played for Friar Lane, Vic Mayes, I think. There was another striker too, Bobby Vincent who was a bit of a lad but a quality finisher on his day. Didn't Eric Moore play there too - a big centre-back from New Parks and at least a couple of half-decent City lads, a black-haired Scot called Bobby Mackay I think and one of his pals. Players like that would have cost decent money for the time - was that what sent them into oblivion? Perhaps Hullfox would know.
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 January 2008 Author Posted 15 January 2008 Depends on whether people are going to be 100% committed.Of course she is. If that means when we've booked the pitch it will be done tomorrow. And I wasn't talking to you I was talking to Thracian.
Hullfox Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 Wonderful, I look forward to paying back the favour she did me!!!! But she hasn't got a cock.
Thracian Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 Do you know if your coming yet? No. But the fitness programme's still on track - just in case.
Dr The Singh Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 But she hasn't got a cock. WHat about the strap on?????
The People's Hero Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 I'm actually going to see an osteopath and sports injury specialist today. It's only coincedence but if he can rid me of some horrible back and knee pain and this constant headache (which I think might be transferred pain) then all the better?

Beer is a cheaper remedy.
Manwell Pablo Posted 16 January 2008 Author Posted 16 January 2008 Right phoned the feckers up, they're getting back to me to confirm. They only problem will be if the pitch ends up water logged and we have to call it off so we'll have to keep an eye on the weather.
The People's Hero Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 I've been practicing my pointing and the old 'leg push' for any compadres with cramp. For the cause boys. For the cause.
