Alexikokopops Posted 20 January 2008 Posted 20 January 2008 Luckily you wont be needing your legs as your the keeper. 3 Whiskey chasers and you wont feel a thing. Except I'm running another half marathon in 7 weeks so can't afford to do it in. Aw, not good. Nothing to do with your clutch technique then?! That's just the Yarii purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. And smell...

And smell... ......your still coming even if you can't walk correct? (which basically means I will drag you there by your lovely washed and conditioned hair whether you like it or not)
Alexikokopops Posted 20 January 2008 Posted 20 January 2008 ......your still coming even if you can't walk correct?(which basically means I will drag you there by your lovely washed and conditioned hair whether you like it or not) Oh I'll still be there motherlicker.
Manwell Pablo Posted 20 January 2008 Author Posted 20 January 2008 Oh I'll still be there motherlicker. I'm suprised you would disrespect the woman who gave birth to you by calling me a mother licker. How mature am I. Actually I don't care, I've got Forza tournament to attend. Au reviour. Don't drinlk and drive, or type for that matter.
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 January 2008 Author Posted 21 January 2008 Just to keep everyone up to date, the pitch has been payed for and hopefully where abouts we are playing (by that I mean which pitch) is in the post with my recepit, in fact it may have been delivered this morning. When it arrives I will let everyone know where we are playing as far as the weather is concerned. Heavy rain today, light rain tomorrow, clear Wendesday, sunny intervals Thursday and Friday. We will find out about Saturday tomorrow. Basically if the forecast is correct and they don't predict really shit weather for Saturday we should be ok.
syston_fox Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 Just had a quick look at a 7 day forecast for Leicester and its got us down for heavy rain all night on friday till about 9am on saturday. Then light rain midday till late

Fez of Mahrez Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 Is it a more even pitch this time? And if not, can we shoot uphill first half to make up for last time?
Finnegan Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 I'll play in hale, tbh. I'm Welsh. We don't understand "dry."
Tommy G Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 Im not sure many people will be bothered but I may have to drop out of the U 21's as I injured my back on saturday at the gym. Shame as I was looking forward to it, and to meeting certain people. Will re assess the situation on friday night though
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 January 2008 Author Posted 21 January 2008 Also, what's wrong with playing in the rain? Nothing, its playing on a water logged pitch Im worried about, well, not being allowed to play on one.
syston_fox Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 Nothing, its playing on a water logged pitch Im worried about, well, not being allowed to play on one. Well if you've paid for it then they can hardly throw you off. If the pitch is that bad then it's gonna make for some comical Titus Bramble style moments! Oh and is it too late to book the changing rooms because if it is as bad as the forecast reckons then we're gonna be soaking!!
Wilkesy Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 Nothing, its playing on a water logged pitch Im worried about, well, not being allowed to play on one. Im thinking the option of changing rooms should have been taken!
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 January 2008 Author Posted 21 January 2008 Im thinking the option of changing rooms should have been taken! Me too...... but that would complicate things even further.
Wilkesy Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 Me too...... but that would complicate things even further. Come on Manwell, give them a quick call. I will definately give some money towards this as im sure others will too!
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 January 2008 Author Posted 21 January 2008 Come on Manwell, give them a quick call. I will definately give some money towards this as im sure others will too! If you agree to go and pick the key up and find out where the feckers are I'll think about it.
Bert Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 Nothing, its playing on a water logged pitch Im worried about, well, not being allowed to play on one. True. My Saturday team chnaged to Victoria Park this season, as they were one of the few council pitches that rarely got water-logged. Changing rooms are a mission from all pitches.
Wilkesy Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 If you agree to go and pick the key up and find out where the feckers are I'll think about it. When you put it like that, it doesn't appear to appealing anymore! Would they not be open anyway because of other games?

Will re assess the situation on friday night though So go anyway? Just to meet people and watch?
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 January 2008 Author Posted 21 January 2008 When you put it like that, it doesn't appear to appealing anymore! Would they not be open anyway because of other games? As bert says, they are miles away. Your better off getting changed in someones car (not Jims I doubt he'd stand for that)
Bert Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 When you put it like that, it doesn't appear to appealing anymore! Would they not be open anyway because of other games? You can go on Victoria park when you like.
The People's Hero Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 As bert says, they are miles away.Your better off getting changed in someones car (not Jims I doubt he'd stand for that) People can get changed in my car if they like. It's in a right state at the moment. Dirty, smelly and lacking in sun visors (not really a problem) and rear view mirror.

No I'd imagine they'd ring me at 9am (fukers, I'm asleep, f8ck off) tell me the pitch is flooded and that they are sorry to inform me that my booking has been cancelled and I am being refunded. I will then spend the next 3 hours frantically trying to stop people travelling half the length of the country to attend something thats been cancelled.
