Nationwider Posted 13 November 2008 Posted 13 November 2008 Teaching assistants who get paid piss-all and yet spend their lives helping those who really struggle in school because they care. As Mrs NW will testify, there are some people out there on shitty wages who bust a gut to support harrassed teachers and difficult kids because, basically, they are damn fine human beings. Mrs Storey - I salute you.
skinnydipper Posted 14 November 2008 Posted 14 November 2008 Fluffers (even though it's cash in hand)
James. Posted 14 November 2008 Posted 14 November 2008 Anyone who works to make a difference (i.e. not me). Youth workers, teachers and doctors for example. Oh, and the people at Alka Seltzer.
The People's Hero Posted 14 November 2008 Posted 14 November 2008 I don't think I'm alone in fervently believing that the world would be a worse place without insurance underwriters. God bless them - one and all.
Zingari Posted 14 November 2008 Posted 14 November 2008 all the lovely folks who make honda and saab cars

Mrs Storey - I salute you. I've pulled mine for Secret Santa, which makes me happy as she deserves spoiling with some nice stuff. TA's clean puke, wipe down soiled children, navigate photocopier menus and second guess my requirements before I've even thought about them. Obviously none of them compare to insurance underwriters though.
Koke Posted 14 November 2008 Posted 14 November 2008 Social Workers - Doing a difficult and thankless job (on wages next to nothing) only for people to ridicule them when something goes badly wrong.
