The "where do you buy your clothes?" Thread

Just wondering really, making a bit of conversation, you know how it goes.

Anyway, I mainly shop at:

Burton - too much really, it's a bit sad as almost all my clothes are from there... :S

Debenhams - like some of the shops in there

Primark - If I'm skint, which is too often.

The the odd bit here and there, maybe a bit of River Island if I want the exact same stuff as at Burton for twice the price.

As for topman, i'm really not a fan, I'm normally an Large in clothes, partly due to being 6ft 3, partly due to being a fatty fatty boom boom, but I cannot for the life of me find anything in top man that would even fit around somebody half my size!

So let's all get in touch with our feminin sides and talk about shopping and clothes. rah rah rah

Hahaha oh yes, when we were fairly poor we used to go to the one on narborough road, and the one on the way down to upperton road (can't remember the name of the road it's actually on) I used to hate it but at the same time it made up 99% of my wardrobe, this was when I was about 5 so don't judge me on it. ta

It wont relate to anyone up in Leicester for obvious reasons but I buy loads of my clothes from stores in London like Route 66 which is stakes with decent stuff and an ever changing stock line (the dude slings stuff out after abought a month lol).

Limeys, Im sure that was there when I used to live up In Leicester as far back as 14 years ago? I may be confusing it with another shop but the name rings a bell.

Cult.co.uk

Republic

H&M (Birmingham)

ASOS.com

Topman.com (mainly for jeans as they fit liiiiiiiiiike a glooooooove from there) Plus my mrs works their so I get 25% off mwah ha ha ha.

To be honest i'd say 80% of my shopping is done online now as I HATE crowds of annoying people and pushy shop assistants.

The problem with shopping online is sending stuff back if you dont like the fit.

At least when you go shopping you can be strolling along and all of a sudden something catches your eye.

Edit: I'm more of a Casual clothes wearer. Not one of these jeans wearers. Or Indie clothe wearers. Joggers is ideal for me

In Leicester:

USC

Republic

House of fraser

Occasionally Topman when I'm low on funds

Schuh / Office (for footwear)

Nationwide:

Selfridges cannot be beaten!!

Used to like places like Pilot but tbh they've just gone too brand and chav minded. The sort of people who go in there just go in and buy the cheapest thing just to walk around town with the bleeding bag!!

Not much currently mate trust! LCFC, clothes and trainers are where most my money goes!!

Last time I went Topman (about 2 weeks ago) most t-shirts were between £10 - £16. £20 are more polo shirts etc.

Why don't shops employ some kind of fashion advice person to point you in the right direction depending on skin tone, body type etc..
