Bert Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 Come On You Blooooz!!!! Let's stretch our unbeaten run at least. These are there for the taking - not as good as everyone first thought they'd be.
Geo V Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 442 GM, 442!! I hope the shackles are taken off and we can attack at home in this one. Sheff U are a big old team and Beattie will be a handful but we should have enough about us to stuff em! Come on Leicester!!!!!!!!
Mr Happy Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 DJ to shine? Though even without the hitman, I still believe the 3points are ours for the taking score being 2-0 DJ and Kisnorbo
Ric Flair Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 DJ & Wesolowski to both step up to the plate tonight. Both need big performances for various reasons, Campbell to get up the pecking order and Wesolowski to get the confidence back from where he left off earlier in the season. I don't think Sheffield United will like the battle with Wesolowski and Clemence if we play some football tonight.
SamL Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Come on boys! maybe we decent performance on the pitch, fans will get behind them aswell. Could be on for a great night? 2-0 leicesterr
filbertway Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 I can see us pulling off a 1-0 victory after Fulop has an awesome game and we get one chance and score.
Tabou Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Most important question though, with HUME out, who should replace him? My (and I'm sure 99% of FT users) opinions are that DJ should make a start and step it up a notch. Opinions guys

Opinions guys DJ for me yes. After going to Charlton I cannot bare to see another game of Fryatt and Cort, that has got to be one of the worst pairings I have ever come across in a City shirt. Both incredibly lazy and immobile for the duration of the match, neither of them make anything happen for themselves. At Charlton they barely moved 5 yards apart from each other. DJ hasn't being outstanding for us by any means, but if he gets a chance he's likely to put it away. With us not creating a lot of chances at the minute we need someone like this who will take his chances.

I dno about that bit Although saying that, I'd deffo go with fryatt and DJ upfront, hopefully Dj will put the effort in and chace everything down and Fryatt might get a chance where he has about 10 seconds to think about it. Although, can Cort win headers? If he can I'd put him up top with DJ.

Second paragraph - agree he should start alongside Fryatt but not convinced by his finishing yet. He probably needs a goal to regain confidence and put himself in the frame so hopefully it will happen for him tonight.

As you say DJ will do a lot of running, which is what we need without Hume. Fryatt rarely chases anything down, same with Cort. We can't let sides like Sheff U have time at the back to pick balls out to Beattie that will cause us a lot of trouble. Give DJ a chance to show himself from the start I say.
Jack Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 I can see the players giving us a good perfomance tonight. DJ will be awesome and will bag a goal. Maybe Kaebi to feature at some point

maddog Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Kaebi! come on Kaebi! you will shine tonight! set up 1 score 1 2-0 Leicester IF YOUR ACTUALLY PLAYING
lookwhaticando Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 If we can't finish off a side managed by Bryan Robson, we really should find another sport to play. Leicester City Tiddlywinks Society, anyone?
Toby or not Toby Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 i hope if Lee Hendrie plays that Clem or Weso nails the little shit, for messing us about in the summer and not coming! Can see a 89th minute winner from Collins John of a DJ Campbell assist to win 1-0.

Can see a 89th minute winner from Collins John of a DJ Campbell assist to win 1-0. BTW I think CJ will need 24 hours clerance to play so I wouldn't expect to see him at all tonight. Off down pub for some pre match pintos ta ra all.
