You lots sound like spurs fans ...... FICKLE!

First of all Megson is the saviour with the majority singing Ginger Mourinho since Sheff Wed away and now we have 1 poor performance and its cheereo Gary. I am not enamoured with the guy but Jesus listen to yourselves.

Firstly I am not a GM fan, but he has done good with the defense and we are a difficult side to break down! Even last night we shot ourselves in the foot gifting the goal.

GM has started the right way shoring up the defense. We have the best joint best defensive record in the division and now he has got in John who did well under the circumstances. Although it is taking some time he is changing certain areas which need changing.

If he goes to Bolton I won't cry but if he stays I will give him a chance just because he has not done badly even with last nights awful showing.

Great post. I'm not a Megson fan either, but we've got to give the guy a chance. Results might not improve even if we got a new manager in. Yes we all want to see attacking football, but we can't play attacking football if we're conceding too many goals which is why Megson is building from the back.

Give him time to sort the rest out even if last night was shockinggggggggg!

I agree, great post, it enraged me last night listening to chants of 'Megson for Bolton', who do they think we will get to replace him?!!!, i say give him a chance....but yes last night was appauling, very depressing!

Further mistakes are likely. If Megson has no midfielders lined up then sending Kish to Leeds is a major blunder and this will come back to haunt him when he plays his 3 man midfield with only one proper midfielder...

We all dont really know what went on with Martin Allen, but the football was nowhere near as bad as last night...

Good post Kilworh but i think most fans are not asking for TOO much.

Just a couple of half decent shots on target and a show off offensive football and i'd be happy at the moment, never mind a goal!!!!

Losing to Sheff U who were not great themselves just goes to show how lacking we are.

And i personally a fed up with having so many pro's at the club and hardly any of them can do themselves justice as professional footballers

Sorry, but a record of just SEVEN points and FOUR goals in his seven league games in charge is not good enough.

He doesn't want to be here, the majority of fans don't want him here, and the players don't want to play for him.

This state of affairs cannot continue.

He is creating more problems for the club than Martin Allen ever did!

I'm fooking sick of hearing about us being 'hard to beat'.

Is that all we settle for now a days?

Being 'Hard to beat' yet not actually going anywhere but down in the league?

Football is about scoring goals and we do not seem to be doing that alot at the minute.

'Its alright were not conceding many'

What happens when we do though? We don't have the attacking mentality or skill to get back into the game.

Even at home where we should be looking to win games we set ourselfs up to defend for our lives and hope to nick it at a set piece.

Its not the way forward at all.

Last night was a prime example of this...

We've been woefull under Megson. We were quite fortunate to get a result at Wednesday and just ask yourselves where we would be if we hadn't of won that game. I didn't want him in the first place, if he toddled off to Bolton I'd smile.

We appointed him for "stability." Seems to me with all this talk of going to Bolton he's having the opposite effect!

Win our next game and a game in hand and we're top half!

I dont want to go through all the turmoil of losing another manager, having to find another one and watching him struggle to use these (mostly!) shite players at his disposal.

We need ABIT of stability and a new manager will only waste more games adjusting to the new players, who he hasnt bought!

Then we go through the new manager wanting his own players, not playing some of these regular ones............:(

You can bet your bottom dollar though if he does leave he will blame the fans for it.

" they didnt like me"

" i wasnt wanted"

rightly or wrongly, Megson is feeling our frustration not only for some poor performances but the culmination of so much hope and promises pre season only to see our season not going anywhere.

our frustrations havnt lessened with his arrival, he has unfortunatly been added onto lots of months of frustration, so i hope he doesnt take it personally ( hard not to though !)

I have just never known a situation like it.

Trouble is, hardly anyone with true managerial credentials will not touch us with a barge pole...
