EXILEDFOX Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Milan - dont leave us know because of Megson. I for one know that you have the best interests of the club at heart and have been betrayed by Megson. I sat through that poor performance last night and am happy to see him leave. PAUL JEWELL is the only quality man for the job. Keep going Milan - WE NEED YOU !!!!
Matt Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Yep Jewell, I know Jewell has (Unconfirmed) turned us down last time and rumour's report he turned down Bolton (Again nothing official) but I think we have to go out our way to get Jewell, Milan has the money offer it him, Jewell may not be driven by money (I hope thats the case) but we have to try and go out our way to get him.
JoeyB Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Where is Ricey when you need him? making the We Back Milan posters?
Brainy Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 I hope you weren't one of those wanting Mandy out when he got rid of Allen.
SamL Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 I hope you weren't one of those wanting Mandy out when he got rid of Allen. MILAN IS A LEICESTER FAN Does anyone remember those flags we got handed out at the start of last season? The blue ones with black poles If anyone still has them bring them to the barnsley game. Make it a special atmosphere
Daz.I Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 every one going to the game on saturday should stand up and give milan a good old song and a clap he deserves it
The Bear Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 "It was evident to me Gary's loyalties and heart lay elsewhere." You mean Megson decided to jump before he was pushed, and he's shown you the same loyalty and understanding as you showed Martin Allen. You reap what you sow. Apologies for sticking my oar in at a sensitive time, being a rival supporter and all, but I work with a lot of Leicester fans and hear a lot of what goes on. Mandaric is 100% to blame for the mess you are in IMO. How you can still get behind him is beyond me.

Fair enough comment about Loyalty but bear in mind that Manderic knew he made a mistake employing Allen and wanted to take action sooner rather than later. As opposed to Manderic himself,we would have NO CHANCE of anything happening here if he hadn't have bought the club. No matter what people say, there was never a rush of people willing to pump millions of pounds into the Club. Only he did and like it or not,he owns it. We have no choice but to 'Get behind him' Abit like you Boys and your takeover..you may not like the bloke but you have to trust his judgement!!!
Leicester_Mad Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 why the fook would any manager want to come manage us? Milan has basically made the last 2 managers, 1 - Allen - saying he didnt fit his bill and paying him off and 2 - Megson - not giving him a contract... Mourinho - we have a paycheck for you

oundlefox Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 I have always backed MM to the hilt, but my support for him and his decision-making is decreasing, even though he looked shell-shocked on Sky last night. Fact is he bought all this crap on himself. Firstly he told us that Allen was the man with the vision, drive and passion to take the club forward and sacked him after a few games. That was against the popular consensus of fans opinion. He then signed another manager against the popular consensus of fans opinion in Megson, and shockingly didn't give the guy a contract. The way Megson has handled himself over this Bolton affair has shown no loyatly at all, but he did what all of us would have done in his position. Anybody who gets a better job offer and won't be breaching any contract to accept it would walk. I say good riddance to Megson. His tactics were so dull and negative that it was only the cold that stopped me from falling asleep against Sheff U the other night. But we are only in this dire mess because MM put us there. MM is the guy who does the hiring and firing and so far he's proved to be utter shite at it. He didn't have a great track record of appointing bosses at Pompey, and that's certainly the case with us. My big concern in all of this is what impact it is having on the players. Talk about unsettling. We've got very few quality players but some of them must be thinking 'do I really need to be putting up with all of this?' I'm not slaughtering MM in this, just saying I think he hasn't covered himself in much glory this season. His next appointment has got to be right, because another failure and I think the fans will properly start to turn against him. I hope its third time lucky because I don't want to see the guy walk.
Tabou Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 I agree with whoever said it.... WE NEED TO GET BEHIND MILAN THIS WEEKEND! He is striving to improve our club, by investing money, time and effort. Yes a few of the decisions he has made haev bitten him/LCFC in the arse, but he really is still our saviour. STICK WITH US MILAN!!!
surrifox Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 pretty shrewd operator too- take on a manager for 5 weeks and make £300k compo for a bloke without a contract whom neither club's supporters wants. Next job- get Elvis off the books
Fat Ron Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Lets just hope that this next choice of Manager is one to settle down and get the job done.
MPH Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 why the fook would any manager want to come manage us? Milan has basically made the last 2 managers, 1 - Allen - saying he didnt fit his bill and paying him off and 2 - Megson - not giving him a contract...Mourinho - we have a paycheck for you you need to check your facts. Milan had given him a contract, it had been fully agreed by both parts and it was with the solicitors for both parties to go over it with a fine tooth comb. thats perfectly normal in football and happens with every contract. its just usually some managers are no so low as to walk out. Think of this.... If there was no contract in place why would Bolton be paying compensation?

joely22 Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Make it a special atmosphere A special atmosphere? Think you should be more concerned with actually making an atmosphere after Tuesday.
Staf Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 I have always supported Milan where would we be without him
demon_dog Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 I have always supported Milan where would we be without him Agreed, before he came along the future was looking bleak. We may be managerless once again but at least we have a team that we can continue to support for the foreseeable future, unlike Coventry fans.
Tabou Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 I think we should write him a thank you for saving and developing us letter! Seiously!
