I just watched some jackass of a reporter saying the fans were against Megson because he was ex-forest - the fans were against Megson because he FAILED at forest and because he produced, knowingly the most boring, monotonous, tedious, tiresome football I have witnessed. It was the same with Gareth Williams a talented footballer, I disliked his involvement because he was happy to flounce about the football pitch wasting this talent not because he used to play for forest. We've had plenty of forest connections such as Gary Mills, MON and Collymore who were idolised by City fans. There have been times on here where this pathetic outcry has been used, with very few exceptions it's absolutely not true. Rant over

I know two journalists (in fact, both are actually good friends) but neither of them can spell, their vocabulary is woeful and they could suck the life out of even the most interesting story. They, really, are anti-journalists. Journos are either like that or like Thracian, making a massive mountain out of a molehill, disregarding facts and relying on hyperbole and mis-information to spice up their stories. I could do a better job than any of the above 3 referenced, crap journos. Thing that annoys me most is that my mate will turn up to the pub with a notebook. Not just in his bag or something, but in his hand (just in case). I've heard of be prepared and all that, but he's the bloody sports journalist for a local rag. I might become a journalist, the opposition is piss weak. Ok, I don't have a piece of paper that says I've listened to an old failed hack for 2 hours a week for 3 years and then put together some sub-standard response to an essay question deemed to be worthy of a pass because they don't want pass rates down. I've got balls, I can write and I'm not a blithering idiot. That's 3 things I've got over most journos. And most people for that matter. And to save you the bother Thracian, yes I would know all about that. Now someone go out and catch me some seabass.. I'm in the mood for fish this evening.

We didn't want him cos he was awful! End of story! It's like saying that if Ronaldo, Henry or Gerard wanted to join Leicester from Forest, that we wouldn't have them - erm.... no, I don't think so!
