Flynny Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 Is it a rolling contract? Yep, but only for one year. So this time next October it'll have to be renewed.
Master Fox Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 Why? Please someone explain to me? Didn’t anyone else feel slightly ashamed when the Sky cameras turned to this bloke against S****horpe when they were discussing the Leicester fans? The room gasped then laughed hysterically at this unfortunate and disgusting sight. This bloke has become the stereo type Leicester fan!! Do you really want to be looked upon like a Jobber?
Monk Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 Is it a rolling contract? Could someone explain to me what a rolling contract is please? Don't quite get it
Tabou Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 A rolling contract, in reality, is what your average Joe employee will have. A 'Normal contract', in footballing terms, will have a start date, and end date (usually extended, if doing well). However, a rolling contract isn't for a specified period of time, and usually isn't paid the same money as that of an identical 'Normal' contract. Both parties have the option of terminating the employment with very little, if any notice, and usually, no penalties apply. That is a very general scope of them, so dont quote me on any of it!!
Monk Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 Thanks for that tabou404 as I really didnt know what a rolling contract was. You were obviously paying attention during the Rob Kelly era
