Bryn Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 I'd love for someone to comment specifically on Levi Porter's impact, because maybe Thracian wasn't far wide of the mark when he suggested that Levi Porter would play well "in the hole". I only saw the highlights but his chip into the box for DJ's goal was classy, and his run at the Chelsea defence from a left centre position threatened to breach them, and the freekick he won attempting to do so got us Cort's goal. Maybe his trickery on the ball and deft passing really would have given our midfield some attacking threat and creativity? He's effectively got 2 assists from a central position last night. It's a shame that we may not find out for the rest of the season if he is indeed now injured, having done his cruciates as is feared...
Micky Ruddle Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 It was incident after incident. Porter suffered what appeared to be a broken lower leg in an innocuous-looking challenge with Shevchenko
Dames Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Now if he did this all the time he wouldn't be so badly knocked. I hate how players only perform when they want too and not on a consistent basis. Well done to the lad he did well and shame he got an injury.

From what little I saw Levi did make an impact, but Levi does this, he has an excellent game against big oppenents or a sky game and then goes back to being absloute dog mess the week after. It matters little anyway, by the looks of it he could well be out for the season anyway.
Tevez Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Unlucky lad, lets hope Hellings has a chance on saturday.
Babylon Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 One swallow does not a summer make. Makes the BJ better though.
RowlattsFox Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Levi always seems to be better when coming on as a subsititue.
The People's Hero Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Makes the BJ better though. If she doesn't swallow, it's not a BJ (in my book). Has anyone read my book?
Monk Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 If she doesn't swallow, it's not a BJ (in my book).Has anyone read my book? Am I in it?
Bojimha Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 I hope not, if so its not a book I wanna be reading. I prefer to stay away from homo erotic novels!
Manwell Pablo Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 I hope not, if so its not a book I wanna be reading. I prefer to stay away from homo erotic novels! It's not a novel, it's a piece of non fiction, homo erotic non fiction, oh yes.
The People's Hero Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Am I in it? There is a character based on you, yes. I imaginately named him Monk Monkington. He's a monk in the book (and in my mind). Has anyone looked in to my mind?
