Staf Posted 5 November 2007 Posted 5 November 2007 I think Bristol are good enough to finish in the top 10 & I wouldn't be suprised if they sneaked a playoff spot! I agree I think Bristol City are a quality side i think they will finish just outside the play offs
samlcfc1 Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 a point away from home is only good if you are winning your home games which we aint! so got to be looking for the 3
Manwell Pablo Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 I'll admit it's the sort of away game you can definatley go and have a go at, like Colchester was, but if at the end of 90 minutes we have a point I'll be indifferent not outraged. I think we're going to tonight anyway, dunno why.
samlcfc1 Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 its quite wierd for me i cant see a win there or i cant see us losing there either
SamL Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 its quite wierd for me i cant see a win there or i cant see us losing there either Come on boys. I genuinly think we will get something tonight and sneak a win on saturday. If we can do that we will be right up there. I'm feeling optimistic
Dr The Singh Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 I'd certainly bet on Bristol finishing in the top 10. Their reputedly good football and positive approach seems to give them a chance of winning every game. I watched them play the opther week, and I was very surprised how good they were, especially interms of passing, it was simple and precise, and I can't figure why we can't do the same!! I think we missed out on a gem of player, McIndoe!!! Top 10 is achievable, if they can keep there best 11 fit most matches, play off's is a possibility!!
STUHILL Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 I watched them play the opther week, and I was very surprised how good they were, especially interms of passing, it was simple and precise, and I can't figure why we can't do the same!! Yep I agree, dunno why Wolves let him go and suprised a team like Bristol got him over others. As for tonight, well no matter what's going on in background or what players are injured, we have to go to Win, we've proved we can play well with this team. We have to start picking up 3points or we will find ourselves becoming further and further adrift.
bigneville Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 I would like to see the same starting line up and attitude we adopted at Preston in the first half, and again go from there. I like the DJ and John partnership with Fryatt just behind. Not a long term solution to anything, but best of the options at the minute. Kenton is having a good little run, and the midfield although lacking quality has been creating chances away from home. So for me, barring any injuries, very similar set up as Vs Colchester and i'm sure a result is there for us to take.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Everyone keeps talking about Fryatt in the hole, just behind etc etc but to me he was practically playing left wing.
Manwell Pablo Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Same team as Satdee if Hume isn't fit. Woo and hoo.
bigneville Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Same team as Satdee if Hume isn't fit.Woo and hoo. What would you change to bring Hume in? I think he shouldnt be rushed back and possibly wait to return until saturday no matter if hes declared fit
Manwell Pablo Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 What would you change to bring Hume in?I think he shouldnt be rushed back and possibly wait to return until saturday no matter if hes declared fit They'd stick him in for Fryatt or Campbell I'd imagine. More than Likely DJ.
bigneville Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 They'd stick him in for Fryatt or Campbell I'd imagine. More than Likely DJ. Fair enough, i see the logic in Hume dropping in the hole. But i'm not convinced John and Fryatt up top will work, and that John and Campbell is a better partnership in terms of working together. So to me, you'd have to leave Fryatt out the side, leaving out possibly our most natural finisher. Whether that's the right decision i'm not sure, but we will see. To me, Hume being injured is a blessing in disguise.
Manwell Pablo Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 You could drop Hume for one of the two out and out defenders we're playing in centre midfield instead then
bigneville Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 You could drop Hume for one of the two out and out defenders we're playing in centre midfield instead then Would probably help i guess.... That way we could play 6 Defenders and 4 strikers... And i bet we would still be struggling to score more than 1 goal per game.
Fox in a Box Posted 6 November 2007 Author Posted 6 November 2007 Putting my neck on the line and going for a 1-0 away win. City to actually win away with style and give the whole club a lift for the weekend...gingle bells gingle bells........
ASH17LCFC Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 What happened to all that hype about Billy Jones ? Gonna play for england he was Still they got that Ormerod and he always seem to score past us. They have got some alright strikers to call on ... Paul Gallagher, Patrick Agyemang, and Neil Mellor. Gonna be a tough game me thinks.
Koke Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Agyemang will score a cracker tonight as he did against WBA last season, but we'll come home with a 1-1 draw.
Ashley Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 I want a win tonight. If we dont win I wont be happy
Milky Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 I want a win tonight. If we dont win I wont be happy
Ashley Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 I know Preston have been abit of a bogey team to us the past couple of years but still we should pick up a result tonight. I'm going for a 2-1 win.
