Then you, yourself go onto to talk about the fact we've been in the Premier League, the fact we've been in Europe, the fact we've won cups, and it's not often I get to say this, even to other fellow Championship clubs. But what in have you ever won, League fuking one, once.

Thats the point wallyhead, weve never had ANY real success and still have almost obscene followings hundreds of miles from our home town every time an argyle side takes to the pitch.Just imagine what kind of support or lack of it youd have built up over your history if youd had as rotten time of it as we have with an almost totally constant lack of success.

i do maintain that it matters tht we havent broken that new ground of getting into the 1st flight of english football yes.It would be a major thing for a 121 year old club to make that leap for the first time-ask Reading,12,000 to seee them start their championship winning season(v argyle incidently who won and hd over 4,000 at the majdeski)and now getting 23,25k in the premier and now ready to exapnd to 38k.IT IS INDEED all about money and if we ever get lucky and get that major investment,we can go alot further than ever before.Nothing can be laughable from a club that sends thousands of fans to all parts of the country to follow argyle like it does.No other club in the land gets complimented on the sheer force and numbers we have at places further from our home than most cities in france are from us.Our away following isnt betterd by ANY club in this nation and i mean any club in terms of loyalty and numbers for the league and lack of success weve been in or had at any point in our history. One things for sure,we ll only know weve got to where we should be when we cease to be patronized by fans of clubs who couldnt even fill their 22,000 ground out on a regular basis in the premiership.

Perhaps that patronization is the truth. And thats why it hurts?!

You will never be Premier League.

People didnt appreciate it as much as they would now when we were in the Prem before.

Average of about EDIT: 22,750 per week, doin crap, playin crap, is an indicagtion of the size of the club. Sorry mate If you were selling your ground out every week i might sort of sympathise. But you aint! No crowdsat Home Park higher than 13,500 i think. We beat that on midweek night games, and you are doing well!

and another thing, just what is the point or "usp" of Leicester blimin city anyway? You have absolutely no identity, you have a name thats dull, anyone can be called city, totally pointless. You play in blue, how utterly tiresome, youre never going to even be the 10th most famous club in england to play in that predictable colour are you?At least we have an identity,a unique culture,a unique name,a unique colour and a romanticism about us that you dont and can never have so s&ck on that gentlemen, good day.

That's a load of shit, as well. Last time we were successful we were fairly nationally characterized as a die-hard, spirited and rugged side with a never-say-die attitude.

What are Plymouth known for? Holloway (oh, wait...) and his ramblings. That's... well, actually that's it. Yeovil have a "different" kit, too, doesn't make them bloody characterful. Northwich Victoria play in green, n'all - nobody still gives a shit!

We have something that only 8 out of at 92 league clubs can say - We've never played lower than the 2nd tier of English football. Look up the other teams that can say this too.

You have a green kit, wicked.

You don't even have any famous fans, do you?

A medium sized club that's bigger than yours.

Nigeria are better than Plymouth, They play in Green. Their players have green hair sometimes too.

I have just got in and caught up on this thread. It has taken me several minutes to stop laughing. What is it with you Plymouth fans :-

We are the most isolated club

We have massive away support

We are the best team that plays in green

Please stop these terrible insults or I will tell my mum and she will tell your mum and if I have too I will tell my dad and he is bigger than your dad!!!!!

Shall we stop the childish comments??? :crylaugh::giggle:

Fact - Holloway is reported to be having talks with Leicester

Fact - If the talks go well you will be looking for a new manager because Leicester is a bigger club, with a better stadium, with a better support and more money to use for a promotion push. Holloway knows that and if you cant face that reality stay in dreamland but dont come on here trying to convince us that you are going to win the league if this or that happens. It wont

the comments arent "childish",i was merely pointing out the truth that we have a far greater identity than you do and if i ever found myself supporting such a pointless, dull and middle of the road nothing club like leicester city,id probably have to blow my brains out, just an observation.

argyle is our club name,no-one who cares for our club calls us "plymouth",only those from outside which makes it all the more special. What do leicester city fans call themselves,"leicester city football club",is it that homely?

Arn't all clubs names unique? There is not another Leicester City in the league. So Leicester or any other city for that matter doesnt have a history? Sorry breaking news every city has a history is yours better than ours cant say I am really that bothered. Most of us were comparing our football history to your football history we have an honours list do you? Blimey all you go on about is that your name is unique but face it Argyle is actually a name that you stole off the scots so your own identity doesnt even come from your own area!!! :crylaugh::crylaugh::crylaugh:

Nope we are called the foxes - which is heavily linked to the area - not scotland

its never been determind whether it was from the sutherland highlander team or from argyle terrace in plymouth where the club was formed.Come off it,the "foxes" could be some awful plastic american "sports franchise" name and dont give me crap about city not being boring as you were very close to changing it to Fosse or something a few years back and even lineker said it would give you an identity city didnt.
