Thracian Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Gaining momentum for sure! Well I'm not pushing.
The Reverend Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 I like him. Seems a bit like a Harry Redknapp type manager, bit eccentric, bit of a geeeeeezer and i think he would do well here. Eye for a player aswel - seems to know the foreign market pretty well. He got a few gems at QPR and Plymouth. But if youre askin if i'd rather have Tigana.....
City Fan Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Holloway would be good, but I'm not sure if he is a Premiership manager to be honest - Tigana would still be my preferred choice.
dave_1988 Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 After his previous experience of dealing with us (when he was put on "gardening leave" by QPR for having an interview) would he even be keen on coming here? I think he would be an interesting choice though.
Daggers Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Well I'm not pushing. You can pretend all you want - but you love a bit of back-passage action really.
Zingari Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Gaining momentum for sure! with post match analysis like this , he sounds just the man "To put it in gentleman's terms if you've been out for a night and you're looking for a young lady and you pull one, some weeks they're good looking and some weeks they're not the best. Our performance today would have been not the best looking bird but at least we got her in the taxi. She weren't the best looking lady we ended up taking home but she was very pleasant and very nice, so thanks very much, let's have a coffee" (after a grim victory)
Micky Ruddle Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 I'd have Holloway happily... Same. Its for sure Jewell won't be coming to Leicester. He'll stay up north and take over at Preston. Holloway is my second choice. Get on it Milan
STUHILL Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Holloway Scotches Foxes Rumours ........"There's not a scrap of truth in any of it and it doesn't stop me getting on with my job to the best of my ability. "At least 15 managers have been linked with the Leicester job and if I'm one of them then that means we must be doing something right down here, doesn't it?............ This is from Sportinglife.com some days ago. Unless he has been approached since, i'm not sure whether his appointment is that likely, although that dude from TB hinted at Holloway and as Babylon says, when he hints, he is usually right. So i'm bit confused at minute. I personally think he would do ok for us, better than a lot mentioned.

Yeah but the Monday before Martin Allen was sacked he did an interview on Sky Sports News and said there was no rift's between Milan and himself and everything was fine and happy. And apparently Allen knew he would be gone because he was told before the Watford game (Apparently) Not saying that means Holloway will or won't be coming just saying don't believe everything you see and read. As for Holloway I don't really know too much about him, I love his quotes and attitude but not sure if he's the right choice, I don't think he's be too bad, tbh we need a motivator and I see Holloway as abit of a "prove me wrong" type person, he'll say things in the media to get a performance out of the players.
Steven Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Well I'm not pushing. Likewise. To me it smacks of a lack of ambition on MM's part. It is a risk and goes against the logic he used to hire Megson and back to the one MM used to hire MA2. We all know how that ended up. If MM is has serious as he says he was in my signature then he has to hire a better quality Manager and one which does not rely on the same thought processes to decide that Manager as he did for MA2 and Megson.
Nath Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Normally when a manager comes out to say it's aload of bollox, it comes out to be true. Holloway it is then?
Asha Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Ollie isnt leaving us. Btw we don't want him. The Holloway bandwagon is heading for land's end. I'm still aboard the Jewells.
City Fan Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Ollie isnt leaving us. I think you will find he is......
He's not bald Posted 18 November 2007 Author Posted 18 November 2007 Ollie isnt leaving us. That confirms it...start calling yourself "greenongreen"!
Simi Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Ollie isnt leaving us. Keep telling yourself that.
DB11 Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 That confirms it...start calling yourself "greenongreen"! Made me
lcfc_jme Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 I'd prefer Tigana for sure, but Holloway wouldn't be so bad really seeing as his teams are an absolute bastard to beat for us, especially at home.
brookfox Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Excuse my ignorance, but if we do get Holloway what kind of football can we expect to be watching? Is he a 4-4-2 man? Longball or passing? You always hear about his teams being competitive, but will it be enjoyable to watch as well?!

When his QPR team played at the Walkers a couple of years ago they were the dirtiest bunch of cheats I've ever seen.
