Darkzzz_ Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 i have just heard frank lampard got the man of the match award... how can this be justified?? what a joke...
Simi Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Someone from the FA said on SSN that McLaren has made progress. He should be pushed off a bridge.
Floating Fox Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 ****ing Unbelievable. We've actually lost to Croatia twice, and let Russia qualify ahead of us. And don't we bloody deserve it. Tonight was the story of our woeful qualifying campaign. A terrible start that we never looked like getting back into. So when we actually did everything was rosy. Or not. McLaren is a clueless twat. We were playing brilliantly at 2-2, so what shall we do? Sit back? Wrong answer. But what did England do? Oh yes I remember, we sat back. Brilliant Steve, well done. Wayne Bridge and Micah Richards were atrocious tonight. Crouch was the only player who can come out of the game with some credit. We don't deserve to qualify after the way things have gone. McLaren out and Goodbye England. Scott Carson? I seem to Remember having a Debate about Mr Robinson with you.
sdb Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 i have just heard frank lampard got the man of the match award... how can this be justified?? what a joke... serious? he was the worst player on the pitch bar wayne bridge. gerrard and lampard - when the fook will mclaren learn?! hopefully he'll never have too. how he got the job is a complete mystery to me - so so uninspiring. the only time we were ever good is when he stumbled across heskey and barry. yet he still reverts to the same crap for a must win game. what a dickhead.
Thracian Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 i have just heard frank lampard got the man of the match award... how can this be justified?? what a joke... The referee deserved it ahead of Lampard - for giving him the chance to have a kick! Crouch was our MoM by a distance but, apart from his cracking equaliser, he had nothing to be particularly proud of either.
Anish Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Fair enough Lampard gets a slating, but Gerrard was absolute dogshite AGAIN. This guy is a fraudster who has been woeful for England for too long. Even when Lampard was dropped Gerrard was still turd. He's fooled almost everyone because of his performances for Liverpool, but has never performed to that level for England. It's about time Gerrard was given as much criticism as Lampard because in my opinion they're both as crap as each other. As for the others, Lescott, Bridge, Carson, Richards etc have never been international class. They were all poor but what do you expect with only a handful of caps each?
Simi Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Anyone see the Scotland flag in the Croatia end?
Bert Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 The manager will get abuse, and rightly so, but the players tonight! awful, just awful. Never seen an England side like that. The stand in players were shocking, but when the likes of Gerrard play badly aswell. As for Lampard, does he ever turn up for a big game?I'd also like to say fook off Jamie Carragher aswell. How dare you retire you twat, you could've given us some defence in these last couple of games. Can u blame him? Bet he's laughing his tits off. Croatia 7 to 1 fook me if i'd have known that i would of had a cheeky tenner on it to soften the blow! That was my thinking. I had £12.50 at 7/1 so got a £100 return. I'm just banking it to be honest. Car needs a service and I spent £70-odd going to visit Alex last Thursday, not to mention going to London tomorrow night. Have already withdrawn it back into my bank account. Nice one Fez, i had a 5er at 6/1 earlier on in the week. Fair enough Lampard gets a slating, but Gerrard was absolute dogshite AGAIN. purpleronnie Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 I backed Croatia too. Me too, I got 9/1 put a tenner on, my dad backed down he was going to put a hundred on, he's gutted. Bet of the year by a mile. No doubt loads of people backed england at 4/6....muppets.
Joe. Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 I agree Anish, 'cept Richards. Richards was probably our second worst player!
Simi Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Richards was probably our second worst player! He committed so many stupid fouls.
Milky Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 He committed so many stupid fouls. What do you expect? He's thick.
Mr Happy Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 I didn't think Beckham did badly...He set up a goal, and seemed to be the only england player (apart from crouch and wright-phillips) to be playing with any passion... Ok so Becks did have a decent appearance tonight but the reason I included him there was because of the whole MacClaren 'Will I drop him? Yes! Will I then bring him back because my original plan of dropping him was cack? Yes!' At this currant time now Wright-Phillips has estabilished himself within the 1st team IMO so I don't like the fact MacClaren's f***in around by dropping players then bringing em back in because he hasn't a clue what hes doing! Same goes for Lampard, plays brilliant for Chelski but shite for country and Robinson too. Yeah so he hasn't been playing that well recently but why drop him from england squad? Hes only conceded something like 2-3 goals didnt he and then even if you are going to drop him why for the inexperienced Carson in a game of this importance? Beggers beyond belief!! We seriously lack a decent keeper, which I ask why doesn't Green get a look in? Hes playing at his best for WHU and is IMO a better bet than James, Kirkland or Carson.
Maybes Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Someone from the FA said on SSN that McLaren has made progress. He should be pushed off a bridge. How can they say that not qualify is progress? McLaren makes Sven look like a world beater!!
Darkzzz_ Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Can i also make a point that Brian Barwick must shoulder the blame here aswell.... That fat bastard who just sat there, in his warm chair....The guy that appointed this joke of a manager....Sack the FA..... Sack Mclaren..... Sack England..... Another point i want to bring up.... wayne bridge anyone, that is really a piss take... he was the worst player i have ever seen tonight... and i have seen some bad ones believe me.....
Simi Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 What do you expect? He's thick. I expect him to be able to defend with his hands not around the attackers throat.
Joe. Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 I expect him to be able to defend with his hands not around the attackers throat. Oh, and attack for that matter too.
Bert Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Richards was probably our second worst player! Maybe. But Anish was saying that Richards wasn't upto internatonal class, after the x amount of games he's played, and i disagreed, allowed right?

I actually hate Barwick more than McLaren.
Jack Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 IMO Crouch is the only one worthy of keeping his place, He didn't have the best game i agree, but you have to take into consideration he was given scraps all game yet he still created stuff or tried to anyway, His first touch is immense and i think he is very under rated. I suppose when Owen and Rooney are fit again he wont get a look in though.

They were all poor but what do you expect with only a handful of caps each? I'd have rated Gerrard worse than Lampard. At least Lampard scored our penalty but it's hard to remember Gerrard doing anything right all night. His last serious pass to Beckham summed him up - he missed by about 10 yards from 30 - whacking it straight out of play. Even when he passed 10 yards and actually found a man he hit the ball so hard he nearly bowled the blokes over. If he's the best we've got I despair but he'll still retain an avalanche of support. Some people do.
Simi Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Barwick should pay McTwats compensation out of his own back pocket. Meeting called for 8:30 tomorrow.
Floating Fox Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Richards was probably our second worst player! Agree. Completly of colours today
