We invited that third goal. We should of just stood there with our shorts down and let them walk in. We literally bent over for them to insert the ball where they wanted it. We couldn't even call it rape, we were up for it.

I expect Carson & Bridge never to play for England again, Beckham hanging up his international boots and Lampard being prevented from playing in the national squad once and for all.

As for McLaren... Rot on a deserted island. And never come back.

I just have to add by the way, although I did do fairly well out of tonight financially, I am absolutely f**king gutted. I just think it's absolutely fine to try and get something back out of these overpaid wankers when you see a spectacular betting opportunity like this. I just wish I'd had the guts to put a little bit more cash on. Incredible odds, as I posted earlier today. Staggering.

But as for the football itself, I am devastated I won't be watching England in the summer. In a way, at least. In another way I have given up caring about players like Frank Lampard and co. Back to scoring goals by the bucketload for Chelsea next weekend. I hope he's having a miserable evening.

****ing Unbelievable.

We've actually lost to Croatia twice, and let Russia qualify ahead of us. And don't we bloody deserve it.

Tonight was the story of our woeful qualifying campaign. A terrible start that we never looked like getting back into. So when we actually did everything was rosy. Or not.

McLaren is a clueless twat. We were playing brilliantly at 2-2, so what shall we do? Sit back? Wrong answer. But what did England do? Oh yes I remember, we sat back. Brilliant Steve, well done.

Wayne Bridge and Micah Richards were atrocious tonight. Crouch was the only player who can come out of the game with some credit.

We don't deserve to qualify after the way things have gone. McLaren out and Goodbye England.

Reserves the pair of them. Carson in particular should never have been thrown in at the deep end.

No doubt the gruesome twosome in midfield will look like worldbeaters again next week in the Champions League.

They didn't give a monkey's tonight, and haven't done for the past three seasons.

The new boss (MON? Mourinho?) has to bomb them out and bring in players who are proud to wear the shirt.

That was abyssmal! What was MacClaren playing at?!? Hopefully (chances are he won't leave somebody'll have to push him) he'll now get the boot and the whole structure of our national team will be sorted out. The wasters namely Bridge, Lampard and Beckham can all sod off too!!

10 years ago those players would have been crying. Now it's like "oh, think I've picked up a knock, have a look at this for me, big game this weekend"

Gutted BBC went off the air so quickly, would of loved to of seen what they had to say for themselves.

Deservedly beaten by a balanced team who played football for each other and had the individuals to supply a bit of class.

I thought well done when England came out second half and developed a bit of momentum. They pressured a bit, got a soft but justified penalty, equalised and then predictably, pathetically and fatally stopped playing with tempo, sat back and tried to hold the draw.

It's the worst thing about McLaren and he's not alone. He simply never learns.

There is no turn off time in football. You win games by maintaining pressure. What earthly reason did we have to change what we were doing to get the two goals back?

As it was as soon as we slowed the tempo, Croatia found gaps and how dangerous they looked going forward.

Wayne Bridge looked abyssmal in a defence that looked about as sound as a dam wall with holes in.

The only hope now is that our embarrassment will lead to a revolution in English football and a change of emphasis.

We need faster, more accurate passing, better understanding and movement, more players with individual skills who are confident enough to use them and far more players capable of backing attacks and scoring goals.

Great save by Carson second half though I don't know if he knew much about it. Cracking goal from Crouch. Otherwise singularly uninspiring and the final outcome - European Championship oblivion - nothing more than I expected and predicted from McLaren.

Presumably he'll be out of the job by the time I post this.

Everything i was thinking is in this post.... Useless.... wayne bridge is a disgrace to professional football, gerrard and lampard were a disgrace... i am now fed up of defending my country... thats it i stop now... the fooking twats in the media brainwash the naive idiots in this country to actually thinking we are so special... How can we defend ourselves from the critics?? simple, we cant!!! The players, the staff, the fa, they deserve everything they get.... At least there is one positive out of this, the media now havent got anything to get excited about next summer..... then again i bet they will adopt a team and brainwash the country yet again!!!

fooking useless.... Very Ashamed.....For all the real fans!!
