Finnegan Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 Wow. Talk about gutted. That was absolute toss. The Pancake song was about it...
Finnegan Posted 22 November 2007 Author Posted 22 November 2007 It's on BBC 3 for a reason you know. I'll be having none of that, the first two seasons were blinding. I thought the first episode of this season was pretty mint tbh.
Master Fox Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 I'll be having none of that, the first two seasons were blinding. I thought the first episode of this season was pretty mint tbh. "Well hello there Hoochy Coochy pants"
Finnegan Posted 22 November 2007 Author Posted 22 November 2007 Fulcher's a genius. The "And that's why I don't like cricket" skit is unmatched.
Alexikokopops Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 I'm not gonna lie. I found the first episode a little disappointing, and the second wasn't all that. The funniest bits have been the chatting away at the beginning between the two of them before anything actually happens.
loverofinsanefox Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 I have to agree, first one was pretty mint, the hitcher is quality. However second one was pretty toss I agree. Third episode should be up on the BBC website later, so I'll check that out then. Nothing beats the Old Gregg episode tho.

Tony Harrison is probably the best character in anything ever.
Libertine Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 Milky Joe is my favourite episode by far. The first episode was very disappointing I thought, the second looks better but I'm now expecting little because of this thread.
Joe. Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 I'll be honest, I've never watched the Mighty Boosh, but I think I should soon. It's just never really appealed to me
loverofinsanefox Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 I had the exact same thoughts, looked from clips a bit of an over-the-top random student comedy, so I decided not bothering. Then I realised I was in fact a student (took me 3 years to realise I am actually doing a degree), gave it a chance and hey presto, I was hooked.
BigGibbo Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 The second one was a little bit of a let down!

I had a girlfriend that was always harking on and on and on and on and on and on and on about the Boosh along with a whole crop of other bollocks TV, so I swept it into the same group. Actually gave it a chance about eighteen or so months ago and loved it, great stuff really.
General Smuts Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 Already a boosh thread Finnegan. I should know as i started it! I did think that the new episode wasn't that great but i have faith in the boosh, episode 3 shall be amazing and you shall all eat your words.

Unlike LWICD I cba digging around and dredging up threads. And I've no words to eat. We've said we love the Boosh, we've just said this episode was feces.

Finnegan Posted 23 November 2007 Author Posted 23 November 2007 Bit worse than usual? Name me a previous episode worse than that.

BigGibbo Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 You're probably gonna be disappointed by the next one then!
mancunianfox Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 Thought the second one was much better than first episode, we thought it was one of the best they have done. It reminded me much more of the first series which was cool, especially the stationary bit at the start. The only thing I am dissapointed by is that it is already becoming a rehash of what they have done before. The jazz attack mid performance, spirit of jazz and the pancake song have all been done before. I think they need some original characters somewhere in the series. Vince Noir-house for one was very good.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 If you like the Mighty Boosh then you should definately check out Garth Merenghi's Darkplace, it's even better.
dandannieldanok Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 If you like the Mighty Boosh then you sahould definately check out Garth Merenghi's Darkplace, it's even better. Both are brilliant IMO. Also, the Mighty Boosh Live show is the best thing on planet earth, fact. It was bloody hilarious

Libertine Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 I liked the third episode, better than the first two put together.
