Atmosphere wasn't that much to shout about but better than in recent games. I don't think our home fans are any worse than most other clubs - isn't it always the case that the away fans make the noise, wherever you go?

Two things I thought were a bit odd last night: 1) what was that weird one note singing that the Cardiff fans were doing and then our lot started copying? 2) What did the Cardiff fans do to have that massive police dog stood near them that for a lot of the time was making more noise than both sets of supporters? It was miles from me and I was still scared of it

The atmosphere was good?

Christ you've got to be having a laff! Got bored at about 60 Minutes with the clapping in the "kop" with no singing so we just decided to clap for ages. lol

Jme Fell asleep as well

If you call that a good atmosphere you need your heads looking at. Once again it confirmed that home games are shit and you have to be a mug to pay to go.

I'm no mug  The atmosphere was poor. but the game was pretty good for once.

The 'Kop' can only clap which is poor. I think it would be quite good to get N block going again but make it better this time. I didn't experience this much last season but it was pretty decent when I was there.

Don't know what peoples thoughts are on this.

Out stadium is missing the banter between the home fans and away fans which Chants/songs are built around

Colchester away this season was a good example of this.

N1 was poor atmosphere wise. And what were the cardiff fans playing at making those stupid noises. The only song that really got going was clap clap LEICESTER. The game wasn't that bad for a 0-0 draw, but at times the crowd were just silent around us.

Surely that's exactly what L1 is?

I personally think the only way we're ever gunna get any real atmosphere going at the Walkers is for the people in the Kop that actually wanna sing etc to move to the block next to L1. Currently due to the acoustics of the stadium, you just can't hear the kop from L1 and vice versa to really get any kinda chantin in unison going. I know there's a fair few people in the kop that think the L1ers are chavvy wankers or whateva blah blah blah, but think this kinda ridiculous elitism has gotta be forgotten if we're gunna get things going.

How do you propose that then?

Well you started the N block thing last year. Who did you go and see and tell your wonderful idea too ? I am up for N BLOCK - PART 2.

I didn't start it! That would be taking away a lot from Standupandsing and Jamie, I went along to the meeting to help out!

:crylaugh::crylaugh:

That was hilarious.

Your right us Elle one-ers are comical geniuses :scarf:

Heard the kop singing du du du du fcking useless too... who do they think they are..singing at football matches, as well as robbing our chants :giggle:

We must do it again, for every game this season. Absolutly brilliant. I think everyone was joining in.

Well I thought the atmosphere in N block last night was pretty good, the best since Leeds last season. Just a shame we didn't score.

Is it like this?

I thought I heard something like that from your end. Millwall have done it for years.

Don't be a twat, there's no need.

Atmosphere not good last night, too many rent-a-fans just turning up for the free tickets but it was nice to see it fairly full. Noise isn't the be-all and end-all, it was actually a quite entertaining game last night and I'm optimistic for the future.

I'm sorry pal, thats my opinion and I'm entitled to it.

If you thought that the 90Minutes was worth £23 Quid then fair enough but I certainly don't think it was and the first Hour was dreadfull! I actaully saw better football in non-league! Alrite it picked up slightly towards the end and the noise when half the kop was on its feet was brilliant (At the corners etc) but those few minutes don't make up for the crap that was beforehand.

I love Leicester but I don't have fun by going to home games & I'm certainly not going to pay thier extrondair prices, which to be fair on the club, are quite low for our division.

Thought you'd know. Maybe you ahould just go and support another team :P

But yes, that's right.

Nah it was only 'cus I thought I heard cardiff do it.

L1 sounded alright to be fair but was still pretty poor on the scale of things.

Somebody at school I know said to me today, "Were you with those bunch of twats clapping at the back?"

Seems as though you pissed a few people off

Got a text off a mate who I hadn't spoken with for about half a year telling me to shut the fck up as well and some blokes just turned round and gave some Ironic applause as well.

Brilliant Ched :worship:

It wasn't that great in L1 last night tbh.

The away fans make L1 loud sometimes with the banter etc, but last night there was no chance of that happening, with the handful of fans they brought and how far away they were, twas crap.

Without the current season ticket holders and potential fanbase (people like yourself perhaps, who might get a season ticket in future if the football is better and the atmosphere is better), Mandaric wouldn't have been remotely interested in us.

You're welcome to your opinion that it isn't worth paying to watch but when you start calling people mugs, people who are sustaining the football club you get so excited about going to watch away from home, you will start pissing people off. I can't imagine fans who go to away games being too pleased if they got called mugs by season ticket holders?

The lack of atmosphere at the Walkers irritates me too but then I'm as much to blame as anyone. There's an apathy around the whole place and we only seem to get going when we're attacking the Kop and playing well.

Andys main problem is he wants a atmoshphere that resembles that of Germany/Spain and he's not going to get it as they still have the right to do what they please in their stadiums in comparison to us.

Andys other problem is he seems to be too impatient to try and improve the kop by trying to make himself loud every game to try and attain something resembling a good atsmosphere. Instead of this he comes up with hairbrained schemes like N Block in an attempt to get all the singers together (I don't know why as Ze Germans, el Spanyyarrds and most Premier League teams have the away fans away from their kop and they still manage a good sing song) and gets frustrated leading to him dissing most of the fan base.

Okay you may be right, without the fans in the first place Milan may have not come, but if we all trotted off he would stay. Gate receipts are not the highest of our incomes.

The place didn't even get going at all on Monday, I really didn't enjoy myself and I wouldn't have enjoyed myself if we scored in the last minute either (Thank fck we didn't, I don't have to listen to ****ing chelsea dagger)

lol

I've got a ticket to watch St.Pauli (Hamburg) vs FC Carl Ziess Jena :scarf: COME ON ZEE GEERMANS :scarf:

Not quite sure what 'hairbrained' was meant to mean though...

I suppose 'Mug' was a bit harsh to our fans, but I can't understand why they goto home games as its not fun and for most of the time its wank football. Even at the watford game I didn't enjoy myslef anywhere near the amount I did at Bristol away,

Now you may make the comment "Well all home games are boring, you can't compare them to aways" but at the end of the day, why does it have to be like that?

I prefer away games to home games as well and I have a lot more fun.

I go to most away games but some just aren't practical. For example Burnley on a tuesday night. Just can't get home which is why I have a season ticket because it means I can go to watch the match without having to worry about getting home.

I have done pretty well so far though, only missed 2 away games

Bring on the days when I can drive, 3 months  You won't be able to stop me going then.

But I know that even if the atmosphere and quality of football is poor, i'll still be paying my money to go because it's what I love doing.

I still have a laugh with my mates.
