The Stig Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 I would have put my house on the fact that one of these threads would appear tonight!

The Stig Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 Ha. Interested to see what the attendance is tonight. I would love to be there.... but can't make it to my season ticket today! Apparantly 2,000 left so 28 - 30,000 would be a good bet.
thybluefox Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 Apparantly 2,000 left so 28 - 30,000 would be a good bet. I reckon it'll be at the 29,000 mark. I'm leaving work soon, off for something to eat in the Slug and Lettuce, and then walk down to the game :D
SwedeFox Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 Get down there and make some noise, I'll be watching on TV.
The Stig Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 There's going to be 28,000 odd there. 28,847.
Bert Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 Just remember guys - Cardiff will not sell 3200 tickets, for a Monday night game live on Sky.
Master Fox Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 My season ticket stays nicely in the drawer this evening. No hacking it up the M1 for me tonight. Instead it will consist of putting me feet up on the sofa, drink some beer, snd probably posting some shit on FT. Nice......
ASH17LCFC Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 I reckon Cardiff will score early and the crowd will go dead ... CMON CITAAAAA !
Master Fox Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 And swollen tipping to the gaol horn? Maybe, we'll see. Seeing as I'll be watching sky I'll have to keep my radio up just so I can hear the goal horn. This is what adds to the whole swollen tipping experience.
Ultra Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 27, 246 in the end. Still biggest crowd of the season though! And the atmosphere in the Kop in the second half was the best I've seen since last season's game against the brummies.

The 'Hey Jude' track at the beginning of the game seems to be getting people going abit more nowadays too!
Tommy G Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 The atmosphere didnt sound that good from what I was watching on the TV considering the amount of people there. Oh and only about 27 cardiff fans turned up!

thybluefox Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 The atmosphere was pretty good I though, miles better in the second half. Even had some singing going in the west stand
Floating Fox Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 The atmosphere was good? Christ you've got to be having a laff! Got bored at about 60 Minutes with the clapping in the "kop" with no singing so we just decided to clap for ages. Jme Fell asleep as well  If you call that a good atmosphere you need your heads looking at. Once again it confirmed that home games are shit and you have to be a mug to pay to go.

Don't be a twat, there's no need. Atmosphere not good last night, too many rent-a-fans just turning up for the free tickets but it was nice to see it fairly full. Noise isn't the be-all and end-all, it was actually a quite entertaining game last night and I'm optimistic for the future.

Well I watched the game on Sky and I've seen a few Championship games on sky this season and I think we were alot louder than most other teams. I think we blow our lack of atmosphere out of proportion at times, we wont be happy until we have the best home support in the land.

Sorry but if you were bored after 60 mins then maybe football isnt for you. L1 last night was fantastic - 2nd half especially when we gave it a real go. Best home game for a long long time!
