Koke Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 I was hoping for an away day somewhere with a terrace.
Daz.I Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 they'll be no more than 500 heading to this one, sounds like a great game though already
Raj Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 Just so others can decide if they go or not. I will NOT be in attendance.
LE8Blue Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 alot of people might want to go because they are not going to go to the away tie on the tuesday night possibilty
James. Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 3 and a half hours on train + 30 minute walk to the ground. Super. It's a small point but when I went last season they had a "shuttle" bus that ran back of forth from the station to the ground. It was a f**king awful day though. Got soaked and then had to wait 45 minutes for a delayed kick off due to the storm that had just drowned me only to see a horrendous 2-0 defeat.. I think I'll pass this year.
Nath Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 Tempted to go, even though it isn't a glamerous tie.
SamL Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 alot of people might want to go because they are not going to go to the away tie on the tuesday nightpossibilty *cough* It will be nice to see the 6,600 that went to Chelsea at Southampton. Tempted to go, even though it isn't a glamerous tie. You are going! END OF

Maybes Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 they'll be no more than 500 heading to this one, sounds like a great game though already 500. That is very pessimistic.

Fox You Forest Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 Shame to get some one in the same division
Sods Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 Il be going, if we took a decent amount of fans then it would be an awesome atmosphere. Southampton were the best fans atmosphere wise i went to last year. Total nobheads though
shrood Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 ****s sakes...can't be many grounds in Britain further away from where I live and far from glamorous. I'd say it gives us a good chance to progress but the way we seem to raise our game when playing prem teams in the cup I think we'd have a better chance playing a bigger club.

Its not that much of trek from mine, so im quite happy.
SamL Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Its not that much of trek from mine, so im quite happy. It's not that far. Could be worse, Plymouth away.
Asha Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 What a crap draw. Agreed, could see it coming though. It's possible to get through, but if we get knocked out it will be a really boring FA Cup year
SamL Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 Agreed, could see it coming though. It's possible to get through, but if we get knocked out it will be a really boring FA Cup year We're actually quite lucky this year. In the cups, all of our games have been away from home. We obviously don't enjoy playing at home and the atmosphere is always better away from home. Win-win situation?
